My daughter visited the Springfield Hospital Emergency Department, Sunday March 10, 2024, we had a very positive experience from registration to discharge! Everyone was so friendly and attentive, we were in/out in less than 2 hours! My daughter’s nurse Liza was absolutely amazing, Cody was great, even shared X-Ray images with my daughter, Heather came by several times, we enjoyed her great conversation. My daughter ended up with a fractured growth plate in her ankle from a wrestling injury on Saturday and continuing to wrestle the whole weekend!! Dr. Cantu in orthopedics saw her first thing Monday morning, he had her casted and headed to school in no time! We appreciated the care and friendliness of the entire staff!!

My son's visit to a crowded ED was outstanding. He was nervous and everyone from registration, x-ray, nurses, and providers were so warm and welcoming. They provided great care in a very busy setting and still took time to give it a personal touch. This is exactly what we need from our local community hospital. We are very lucky to have this resource in our community. Thank you Springfield Hospital!

When one is in intense pain, alone, and exhausted, what better comfort to rely on than this place! I had a highly positive experience in the ER. In spite of other clients being treated, I was ushered in promptly, seen, HEARD, and my issue was addressed. Each and every person who tended to me, from front desk, to nurses, to doctors, was both professional and very kind.I could not ask for more.Highly recommend this establishment.

this place is insanely terrible. my grandfather went in for multiple bee stings, had a seizure! and he has been there for three hours, my family and i have been here for almost two hours and no one has given us a word on how he’s doing, they’re sitting around laughing. if you have the choice to go anywhere else, i strongly advise you to do so

The office staff are fantastic! The providers are kind and take the time to talk through things without feeling rushed. Great environment all around.

My orthopedic was shocked that this ER instructed me to take the sling off as much as possible after breaking my arm. I was told I may need surgery because my arm was not fully immobilized, causing the bone fragments to shift. They also missed 2 out of the 3 fractures on the x-rays. Finally, I was unable to fill the pain meds this ER prescribed me because they refused to send it electronically, which CT requires for all controlled substances. Avoid at all costs.

This is the absolute worst hospital to go to in an emergency. 0/10 the only people that actually do their jobs are the secretaries.

My trip to the ER was on June 10th of this year. The quick thinking of the doctors and nurses there that day saved my life. In less then an 45 minutes they discovered I had a aortic dissection. They called D.A.R.T, which was there in less then 10 minutes. I was brought to Dartmouth for emergency open chest surgery which saved my life!Aortic dissection is overlooked by so many hospitals and people die. Springfield Hospital my be small but they are mighty!

There are so many negative experiences in four day stay, would horrify anyone. Would rather die on my way to Dartmouth then ever go there again! I was the mistreated party,I am not asking anything, if you really want to fix this you know how to reach me this is on you.
