Very friendly staff. Good service in the pharmacy. (Prices very high for most anything else.) I didn't give it 5 stars this time because they haven't have the drive through open when I come anymore. They said it was a staffing issue. I hope it gets resolved soon.

REVIEW AS OF 4/06/25: With no notice at all this pharmacy just arbitrarily decided they weren't going to refill one of my most important medications for a debilitating, disabling condition that leaves me vomiting, unable to see well enough to cook or read, and in pain! Not only did they just *decide* they weren't going to fill it because "Medicaid doesn't reimburse us enough", but they deceitfully WAITED a full week AFTER I ordered the refill and WAS TOLD it was being ordered to inform me, meaning I had to frantically call every pharmacy in the region hoping someone had it in stock (thank the gods for the big box store chain in Claremont). It's a special order prescription, so it takes, in general, 4 to 7 days to arrive, and it's taken every other day, and if I try to order a refill before I only have 3 or 4 doses left (a week supply) this pharmacy's refill system tells me it's too soon to refill it and won't let me order it. So it's always close, but this time, I waited anxiously only to walk down there earlier in the week to be told "we have to order that" and at that point I only had ONE dose left and I was very clear that I had to have it because I only had enough to get me to Friday. I wait, because what else can I do? No one in town stocks this prescription. It's still not ready by Friday. I wake up around 10am Saturday, when I am DUE TO TAKE A DOSE, and call the pharmacy to see if it has come in. It is only then that I am transferred to someone who informs me IT WAS NEVER ORDERED AT ALL AND THEY WON'T BE REFILLING IT ANYMORE.This is extreme negligence! Why didn't they tell me when I was there earlier in the week that they were going to refuse to refill it? They told me it had to be ordered. In the past, that has always meant they were ordering it and it was on the way. Instead, I got no notice at all, because "someone died in the family and you were on my list to call but I didn't get to everyone". SO WHAT? What I care about is not being totally disabled by a debilitating chronic illness that I am prescribed medication for just because my pharmacy doesn't have more than 1 staff member to make IMPORTANT customer phone calls that DIRECTLY impact their health! If they had simply told me when I was there earlier in the week, I could have transferred it to another local pharmacy IN TIME for it to arrive! Instead I had to get a ride to another town 15 miles away, on a Saturday, when there is no bus running! On top of that, they know I'm poor and don't own a car, because I either use their delivery service or they see me walking in, and I'm on Medicaid, so they should have prioritized informing me when they decided to refuse to refill it, not *after I had run out completely*.Is it discrimination?POSSIBLY!Is it completely unprofessional?ABSOLUTELY!I truly do need delivery, and they are the only pharmacy in my town that delivers. I asked them if they plan to refuse to refill any of my other prescriptions because I'm on Medicaid, and they said "we won't know until we run them" so they won't even give me advance warning and I don't know what else I can't depend on them providing in the future.I'm not even sure they can legally do this. They should either accept Medicaid or not accept it, not just pick and choose what and when to honor an insurance!I like this pharmacy, but if I can't depend on it, what good is it to me? All they had to do was call me as soon as I placed the refill order and explain, and I would have had time to find a less frantic solution. To only have one employee making calls like that is really poor customer service. Note I was on a *list of people* she planned to call to tell them the same thing: who else didn't get that important call? Who else is without their medications this weekend because of this? What other conditions do those others have? This kind of service could have very severe consequences to people's health: this could be lif

Great pharmacy, excellent service, friendly technicians at the registers and also offers delivery. They have fancy green colored bottles with caps that don't thread on crooked and get stuck and labels that can be easily removed for recycling, which is important to me. I hurt myself many times trying to cut off the labels from the bottles at my previous pharmacy that put tape over them (which they said was legally required: an obvious lie). This pharmacy is much better. Glad my old one went out of business and I was forced to change. Much better quality bottles and labels. Have not injured myself on pill bottles since switching.

I placed a reorder on one of my diabetic medicines that is sometimes hard to get in stock, however when I went into the pharmacy a week after ordering (when I needed to take my medicine), I was informed that they were not going to fill that prescription because they wouldn't make money on it.While I can understand their reasoning, they should have notified me by phone when I reordered it that they would not be offering it for me instead on waiting for me to come pick it up a week later. They were extremely polite and courteous, and I would have completely understood had they let me know beforehand that I would have to go elsewhere.

I have used this pharmacy for almost 2 years, after switching from one of its Smilin' Steve's sister locations that I had used for over 20 years (when it opened). The other location was changing in its customer service behaviors and was no longer acceptable. What a difference. With my very first refill they called me to inquire about how I wanted to get it, delivered in the mail or pick up. I have had several conversations with them and they have been superb! Even had a glitch in a refill where they sent my refill to me, which is the usual, but when I realized I may run out before I got it in the mail they were able to reassure me that if I did I wouldn't go without. Night and day, I am very happy and satisfied with my change. They have been nothing but fabulous!

I switched from a big chain pharmacy to Springfield Pharmacy and it's been the best decision ever. They're kind when you call, and can even deliver meds locally if needed. Amazing service!
