“Having a good local parts store is a godsend for anyone that does their own work. Everyone who works here is knowledgeable, helpful, and on more than one occasion have gone out of their way to save me some $$$ on parts. I've never heard any of them give questionable advice or wrong answers to other customers.Also, everyone that works there KNOWS HOW TO USE THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM for lookups and cross referencing, and they always open and double-check the box before selling a part. If you know what I'm talking about, you know how nice that is!Good selection of tools if you need them in a pinch, even specialty automotive stuff. They carry several brands of fluids/oils/coolants, so even if you're picky about that stuff, they probably have something good enough.I do try to use OEM parts when possible, but sometimes they're either not available or absurdly expensive. The CarQuest branded parts I've used so far have been pretty good - good fitment, no early deaths from a couple of alternators, a water pump, and some chassis parts for three or four different vehicles. Good warranty on the parts, too.”
