Overall, I had a positive experience with Kitlender. I ordered a backpacking tag-along kit which contained a 40L backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and camping pillow. The kit arrived when they said it would and the return shipping process was easy. The equipment they sent me was high quality. The only critical feedback I have is that the sleeping bag and sleeping pad were bulky and not at all what I would consider appropriate for backpacking. They were very much car camping equipment. As a result, my backpacking companion had to carry a lot more than either of us were expecting because my bag was already at capacity with the bulky sleeping bag and sleeping pad. If you're going to offer a backpacking kit, please make sure the equipment is appropriate for backpacking. Otherwise, everything else went very smoothly.

This is our 3rd year renting from KIT Lender for our son’s ski clothes. Cannot say enough good things about the customer service and the product! You get exactly what is pictured on the site, it arrives in a (beyond) speedy time frame, and they make it uber convenient to send back by including a label and even tape in the packaging! Cannot wait to use them for our trip next year.

CT was so helpful thank you! This service was clutch as a first time infrequent skier or snowboarder I was able to have my entire outfit shipped to my airbnb and it was waiting for me upon arrival. This took care of all the guess work and shopping on my own pre trip (which I didn’t have time to do and had no clue what to buy). I also live in the Deep South and we don’t have places to get this type of equipment readily available. This was sooo helpful it’s like rent the runway for skiing and snowboarding which is ingenious. I really recommend this service and would definitely use it again.

Kit Lender is a fantastic solution to a common problem. We live in Florida and don't own any snow clothes, boots, etc. because we don't have any need for them and rarely travel to cold climates that require that gear. Buying the gear is expensive for something we'll rarely use. Kit Lender has solved this by allowing us to rent snow gear with incredibly easy delivery and return!
For our first ever ski trip we only had to pack layers in our suitcase since we didn't need to bring big, bulky snow clothes and boots! That saved us money by not having to pay for checked bags on our flights to carry the bulk and we were able to pack all four of us in one suitcase (plus four backpacks which were our personal items allowed for free on our flights). The convenience of having a box waiting for us at check-in was stress relieving and the easy packing up and Kit Lender provided return labels was super helpful and easy to schedule for a FedEx pickup. I received email updates notifying me when package was delivered, when picked up for return, when received by Kit Lender, and when all was inspected. I really appreciated the great communication feedback because since it was our first time we weren't sure how it was all going to turn out, but it was completely smooth.
Even when we received the gear, we noticed a few tears (sleeve, bottom of pants naturally) so we took pictures and sent to Kit Lender immediately just to let them know that the slight damage wasn't by our doing, they were completely worry-free about it and apologized for the condition. It was absolutely not an issue for us at all, but they took it seriously and even offered us a discount on future rentals. That kind of customer care is rare these days and we were comforted to know we were in great hands, and great gear! Thanks, Kit Lender... we'll definitely work with you again for any of our future needs!

Amazingly easy to use. Arrived quickly and we were off to the mountain. Jacket and pants Fitted my kid perfectly (except boots). Easy to return and came with goodies (Hand heaters and a lip balm). Would totally recommend.

Kit lender shipped out a children's glove in a womens kit - wrecking our ski weekend. My fiance missed her 9 am group instruction because we were busy tracking down a pair of gloves for her. And because it was only a weekend trip - she was not able to reschedule and we were not able to ski the second day. We got 2 hours of the 4 hour class - and that was all the skiing we were able to do because kitlender failed to provide the equipment needed - they didn't check their work prior to shipping a set of children's gloves for an adult kit. Then - they refused to believe me - waiting until they got the kit back to discuss the resolution - they refunded us $15 of $300 rentals - rental gear we were only able to use 2 hours because of their negligence - ruining our first ski vacation. BEWARE!! They don't care about their clients. They don't take responsibility for their shoddy work. They don't adequately compensate you for their mistakes. A set is a set - take away one piece and it's worthless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay away from Kit lender - there are better options. Any option is better than Kit Lender. BEWARE!!

Absolutely love this service. We've used their online rental service three times already to rent ski/snowboard gear, and the service has been phenomenal. The experience is seamless, we've always gotten our rentals on time, and the return process is also simple. You slap on the included return label on the box, and drop it off at the post office. We'll be needing camping gear for an upcoming trip, and are looking forward to using Kit Lender again. Thank you to Christian W. for helping us with our latest order!
