We stayed here for a weekend. The location is perfect, walking distance to town and really good restaurants and a bar. They have a pool (which was too cold to use when we went), a hot tub, a great bar with amazing cocktails! There is a walking path attached to the hotel. Such a great vibe overall.
The only issue we had was our first room, so they have 3 different room types: older room attached to the lobby, pavilion - newer and more modern rooms and the cabins.
We originally were supposed to stay in the newer pavilion room. It was cute and clean and modern, however, paper thin walls. You could hear full conversations in other rooms.
We ended up staying in the cabins - this was the highlight of the trip. They are incredible! Soundproof, clean, modern, the bed was so comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the cabins!!!
Our friends stayed in the older rooms attached to the lobby and they had no issue with sound.
So if sound is an issue for you, I suggest the older rooms or the cabins.
We would definitely stay here again. The staff are super nice and helpful as well. ☺️☺️

This is a cute place with a lot of activities. Room rate was reasonable but did not meet expectations. Since this was a working trip, I expected to work intermittently while in my room. Unfortunately, there was no desk or table large enough to accommodate. We had 3 different rooms during our stay. The 1st room was great, but since it was an added day, we could only have it for one night. The second night was on a lower level in the back of the main building. There was no lighting to safely walk to the room, and the other way to the room was down a steep flight of steps that had no railing and was also dark and unsafe to use at night.
Rooms: Cute but not practical.
Safety: Parts of the facility was not well lit.

Outbound Stowe appears to be a newer hotel in Stowe from what I read online. They are motel-style, but also have little private cabins that are lined up in the back of the property. I stayed in the Double Queen bed, handicap accessible room. It was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. I found that they didn't have a lot of functional things in the room. There weren't a lot of places to hang up towels. They didn't give the usual hotel toiletries like the shower caps, cotton swabs, makeup remover wipes, etc. They did have an electric kettle in the room and a little tray where they had some tea bags, hot coco packets, and an ice bucket. I couldn't find the other amenities from the other review like the noise machine. We only went to the main building to check in and check out, but I did see the hot coffee station and the gift shop. I didn't use either of these. I did, however, enjoy the complimentary smores one night when I had a sweet tooth. They put the kits out by the restaurant on site and there were two fire pits with a few chairs. I wish they had more, smaller fire pits so it could be a more private experience. (The people sitting at the fire pit didn't seem to appreciate when we asked if we could use the fire for smores.) The fire pits are also by an inground pool and a hot tub. The pool had signage that said it was closed, but they did not cover the pool. I'm not sure if the hot tub was open and I didn't see anyone use it during my stay. The WiFi was abysmal, which really was inconvenient because my boyfriend and I did not get great cell service for the entire trip. We were really relying on WiFi when we went to different businesses to plan things and make reservations. Because WiFi was not great at the hotel, some functions of the TV were unusable. These could be growing pains for the hotel if they are a newer business in Stowe, so hopefully they continue to grow and improve because the location is great and the foundation of a great hotel is definitely there!

Awesome hotel with a super cool vibe! More like a resort than hotel. Staff are very friendly, accommodating, and professional. All things considered, this is quite literally the best hotel value in the Stowe area.
My only complaint is that you don't have a kids menu in your onsite restaurant. For a place that caters to families, this is a huge miss and baffling. Most parents don't wanna (nor should we have to) pay $18-20 to get their 6 yr old a burger. Just a few items are all you need!

Great location, beautiful rooms and amenities. We loved being able to walk on the recreation path all the way to town, and the bonfires and s’mores at night were so fun! Great cocktails and mocktails from the bar. Everything was very clean and well kept as well. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, as did our pup! Many places claim to be dog friendly but then the staff may not be. That was not the case! Everyone was lovely. The AC in our first room was broken so we got upgraded to a cabin and it was such a treat! The regular rooms are spacious and well appointed with lots of creative ways to put your things away! The only thing to know/could be improved is that there is no privacy glass or shade for the main living area of the cabin. So if you care about that it’s just something to consider. The location could not be more perfect. Walking distance to town either via the main road or the beautiful Stowe Rec Path. Could also take a long walk to Alchemist! But a short drive away as well. 10 mins to Bingham falls, trails to Mt Mansfield and three gondola! Can’t recommend enough.

A very enjoyable 3 day weekend in Stowe! This place is so cute and has such a fun vibe! We enjoyed the restaurant, bonfires, hot tub and pool (cold plunge late in the season!). We stayed in a cabin and were so pleased with everything from the customer service to the comfortable stay! Would definitely come back!

We booked a room back in July and never really checked the photos or amenities because there was limited availability near the Stowe Villages. We arrived and we're amazed at how nice the hotel and amenities were. The place has just been redone and they did an awesome job. The room was super nice and homey. The pool, hot tub, and fire pits are great. There's an awesome bar connected to the pool are. They even gave us free s'mores. It's less than a mile to the village and super close to lots of cool places to eat and drink. Well definitely be back soon! And we'll remember our bathing suits next time!

I have to start with saying how incredible the staff is. They really do have a great group of folks that care about what they are doing without a doubt. The new ownership and what they have done to give this place a phenomenal face lift is very impressive as well. The bar/restaurant by the pool is a GREAT hangout spot that is fun, yummy, and includes some of that incredible staff I spoke of ?

Tidy well designed room with comfy bed. They really thought of everything. Plenty of areas to hang your towels, clothes, and coats. Hot water kettle in the room, with coffee to steep, or tea. A noise machine to dull any outside noise. Nice firepit areas and hot tub. The gift shop was really well stocked with great hoodie and tote bag designs, and even s'more kits. The TV in the room was easy to figure out, and came in clear. Helpful happy staff, and hot coffee for early risers. We would definitely come again, especially because they are so close to the bike trails and walking distance to town in either direction. Well done Outbound!
