This place is great! We stopped by because our dog was so stressed when we were traveling and refused to eat. We stopped to see if we could get some new treats for him to entice him to eat. The owner saw our dogs and offered them some treats our picky eater ate them! They clearly have a way with dogs here!

The Dog and Cat in Stowe is a fantastic find for pet owners! This shop stands out with their impressively knowledgeable staff who truly understand pet needs.
Their extensive selection of limited ingredient treats is perfect for pets with dietary sensitivities or allergies. I was particularly impressed by their huge variety of enrichment toys—plenty of options to keep your furry friends mentally stimulated and entertained.
A must-visit pet shop in Stowe that clearly prioritizes quality products and pet well-being. Definitely worth stopping in if you're traveling with your pet or looking to bring home a special treat for your furry family member.

Jason did an awesome job with our husky who was NOT cooperative! We will continue to visit between now and the next appointment in order to sensitize him to the fact he needs to get groomed every six weeks!!! Thank you Jason!

Owner was sooooo friendly and helped teach us how to get snow boots on our city dog’s feet. Also gave him lots of treats. Lovely place.

The owner and his incredible knowledge and genuine love and passion for animals saved my Cavapoo, Rusty! As a puppy he had giardia that wrecked havoc on his insides. A year later he was in the hospital with severe pancreatitis. We tried a homemade diet out of a pancreatitis cookbook for dogs, the farmers dog, GI kibble diets, I even went as far to pay $500 to consult with a holistic pet nutritionist. All of these trials failed, either by runny poops or a 2 or 3 day standoff of him not eating. I was defeated and Rusty’s belly and health were suffering... Until I met the owner here!
He took the time to educate me and give the best options for a freeze dried raw diet. Rusty’s energy and spunk is back full swing! He devours his food and his poops are beautiful and healthy. I couldn’t be more more grateful! Thank you from us both

Toys and such were more expensive than stores back home in the Midwest. however the owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful answering questions; genuinely cares about customers. Huge selection of products.
