These guys were the best! On the lake for a bass fishing event, during practice. My ignition switch blew apart while running in rough water. As I was being towed in and calling around to at least five other places on the New York side, I was getting nowhere with help for a possible part. I reached out to them and told them I was on the trailer and had a 48 minute drive around the lake to get to them, and it was 3:40p(close at 5pm). They said “it sounds like you’ll make it”. The man on the phone had a incredible wealth of knowledge and questions before I even got there. I did make it with 20 minutes to spare, and they instantly greeted me with perfect traditional customer service, and confidence that they could help me. They had the new switch, the adapters and screws pretty much waiting on the counter for me to walk in the door. They also helped me to confirm a diagnosis of a bad fuse on my old 96 Mercury 200 EFI wiring harness. They did not have the fuses in stock, but reached out to the local “Parts Store” about a mile away, and the fuses were waiting on the counter when I reach that store as well. Great job to the local town and businesses and the customer service they provide! Besides the great service, they had an amazing show room of parts and accessories, obviously great counter help and mechanical staff to support it. Their dog was pretty friendly too.

We went through majority of boats dealers and priced a variety of boats.Decided to purchased our first pontoon boat from here ,had more knowledge than the others went through the whole the boat and even got to drive it before buying. Ironically we had purchased our first boat there also. Very friendly to work with takes time to come out to our home to make sure everything was okay. Very satisfied withe purchased and service.

They were great during the buying process for our Four Winns, however the second we needed them for repairs they sucked. Do not bring your boat here, they will not do the repairs properly and they will give you the run around. It's so bad that we would rather drive to another state to have our boat serviced just to avoid this place. BUYER BEWARE!

We were up in VT for a week and ruined a trolling motor prop for a 112 lb thrust motor and we went here for one, he didn’t have one but Kevin got on the computer and got us one ordered in quick fashion, he even went above and beyond and took a prop off of a motor he had to hold us until he received our prop via delivery, Kevin was very knowledgeable and friendly to us and we appreciate it very greatly!!! If you need anything for your boat, this is the place to go! Thanks Kevin for going above and beyond for us, we will be back

To be avoided. Left my motor with them and when I picked it up it was missing the slow speed adjustment knob. Pointed it out and told they can be sure it was there when I left it. Tried to make me out a liar. Not an expensive part to replace, but their customer focus sucks hard!

I'm reviewing Boat HQ in regard to repairs.We had a very unfortunate situation with a boat we purchased just two days earlier (out of state) wherein the engine majorly overheated. I don't know much about such things and despite the fact that it took a while due to unavailability of parts during COVID ridiculousness, everything was explained to me as best possible. Boat HQ really worked with me in my situation, understanding our needs and difficulties. Grateful.
