A bit smaller than we expected, but it was still a trip. These small county fairs are going away, so be sure you see them before it's end

Love this county fair so much. Demo derby and tractor pull are always a good time. Go see the animals and all the crafts too. So much fun every year!

Loved the animals, distrustful food vendors.Let's start with the animals, for the most part we could see the love and care put into most of the animals. Not all because there is a dog sled vendor who had a mommy dog and her puppies. The staff had a jar out for donations, this jar of money was close to where they were sitting. However they were too far away from the mommy and puppies to be of any use. They enjoyed themselves sitting and laughing and being social, instead of responsible. The puppies were not given time for feeding and they were being pulled between kids that were not being supervised by parents.Food, we go to the field days for the animals and food. I guess I thought "Hey, this is Addison County. I'm safe, the food is safe and my money are safe" By now you maybe thinking should be right, but here it comes and your right. The French Fries man stayed wearing the same pair of gloves for EVERYTHING he touched. Clean up, taking orders, taking money, making the food and serving the food. Emmm but that was not the worse, the worse was the British BBQ place that served good food, however charged more money than what the sign noted. People around the female who served us tried to correct her, but she just kept brushing them off. The cans of soda were dirty and she charged me $1 more per can. I didn't think that was legal? I pointed out the price said a different amount, but she stood her ground and over charged me. I will never spend $1 more at this vendor.Maybe next year will be better.

Love the maple building! Maple shakes, maple sundaes, and maple bars are the #1 reason we go to the fair. The antique tractors and equipment along with the tractor pulling are the other reasons!

Not as many vendors as before covid but kids tractor pulls were fun. By the size of the crowd everyone needed the fair! Big crowds.

Had a great time! Nice to see our local fairs getting back to normal finally. Only disappoint was that there was no blooming onions this year.

We go every year for derby days. It's always over priced but it's a fair what do you expect. Fun as heck.

Cleanest, most vast, and most picturesque fairgrounds I've ever seen. Easy place to get lost at for a first time visitor. Awesome events and seemed like a very secure, safe place.

Fun fair. Pig races rocked. But would have been nice if the website had prominently displayed a CASH ONLY warning. We were just visiting the area. It's 2021 and even rural festivals accept plastic.
