What a grate place to get groceries cheaper the going to a big grocery store stores but now I wish Thay would carry some fresh produce then that would make it a full stop . But that’s just a suggestion

Employees are friendly and try their hardest to get people thru the line when it's busy. The super slow teller system at times doesn't help them at all. So, please be nice.

Wife worked there for roughly a month worst place to work for paid her for every week but one paid her for the one day she worked after that week with payroll issues and still has not been compensated for that week. Manager is rude makes promises and don’t keep them offers you a job doing one thing at an agreed hourly rate then puts you at a different wage and position I think Corine needs to be fired for lack of management. We will be looking into an attorney and going after compensation. Along with my wife worked while she was injured

This local Vergennes VT store has been transformed recently! It is clean, organized, stocked, clear aisles! Friendly, helpful employees.Choice of self-checkout or in-person. I'm impressed, and I hope it stays this way!

I went into this store this week and the dude over charged me. No biggie accidents happen and when I mentioned it he hollered to the top of his lungs for a manager. Instead of wanting to stay there longer I told him I was just grab an extra item of what was charged. When I was leaving I showed it to him cause it felt weird just walking out. He told me good and he hoped I would leave now! I was nothing but kind to this dude.Like what??? I should have known better to go in there. Lesson learned! Cheap envelopes are not worth it!

I went for the 1st on Saturday. How gross piles and piles of things not on shelf s and piles up in rows you couldn't even walk down plus very dirty. hand written sign to tell you what to do . Total mess !!!

Dollar General in Vergennes, VT is disgusting! I was just in our store hoping that maybe the past three visits in three weeks was just bad days but today was the all time low. The shelves are empty of paper products, cleaning products, food, etc. The aisles are covered in items on the floor. This has been this way since a crew from other stores cleaned it up before Covid hit. There is never a cashier around and no one stocking shelves. Once the cashier came from somewhere, he had the nerve to ask me if I wanted my change!! Oh and the card machines weren’t working so people were walking out. I am amazed at the cleanliness and work ethic of other DG stores that I have visited here in Vt and other states. The Vergennes store is a disgrace to the Dollar General name.
