“We had an absolutely lovely stay at Strong House Inn. Our room was beautifully furnished, warm and comfortable. The location is very easy to get to, and right outside the sweet town of Vergennes. Amy and DJ and Bjorn were super friendly and welcoming, and even modified our reservation dates to accommodate a predicted snowstorm, which we very much appreciated. And Amy's breakfasts ... wow! Delicious egg dishes, fresh fruit, and insanely good pastries. We highly recommend Strong House Inn.”

“A Magical Place That Found Me ✨

I had been traveling for hours, coming from New York City, just wanting to escape—escape the noise, the pace, the constant movement. I didn’t have a plan, just a desire to breathe and feel something real again. And somehow, almost by accident, I ended up in Westport, NY.

I arrived at The Inn in Westport not expecting much, but from the very beginning, I was welcomed with the kindest energy by Antony. It was late, I was tired, but his warmth and attention immediately made me feel safe and cared for—something I hadn’t felt in a long time.

The next morning, I walked into a space that I still carry in my heart: the store inside the inn. I’ve never seen anything like it. The candles, the crystals, the books—everything was exactly where it needed to be, as if it had all been placed with intention and love. I didn’t want to leave. I wanted to buy everything. But more than the beauty of the objects, it was the energy of the place that moved me—a peace so deep, it’s hard to describe with words.

And just when I thought this place couldn’t touch me more deeply, I met Alexandra. We didn’t speak the same language, but somehow she understood me perfectly. She personally took us to the transportation station, making sure we were safe and at ease. That kind of kindness is rare, and I will never forget it.

On the way to the station, I looked out at the mountains, and I was in awe. The divine beauty of that landscape reminded me so much of my home in Colombia—the green, the silence, the majesty. I suddenly felt both far from home and completely at home. And in that moment, I knew something deep: the long journey had absolutely been worth it.

I came looking for rest, and I found magic. Thank you, Antony. Thank you, Alexandra. Thank you for living in such a sacred place—and for sharing it with us.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will carry this memory forever.”
