Vergennes Wine & Beverage Inc., soon to be renamed Hare and the Dog, is a full-service beverage store on Main Street in downtown Vergennes. It offers a wide selection of wine, craft beer, liquor, mixers, and party supplies. The store has a cellar atmosphere with exposed brick walls. The staff is super friendly and provides excellent, pampering service, offering happy banter and helpful recommendations. They are known for custom ordering favorite items if available. Special events are a specialty, and it is a great place to visit, especially during the Christmas holiday, making it a cherished part of local tradition. Customers highly recommend it.
Playing tourist in my own home state ...Was driving through Vergennes & the sign caught my eye! A very friendly lady asked if I needed help immediately.(sorry forgot to ask your name!) Great store with all sorts of offerings.... And then I saw the T shirts!!! Love this logo! If I lived nearby, I'd definitely shop there.
