Kenyon's is an awesomely strange hardware and farm store. Certainly like no other hardware store you've ever seen. It's in an old working farm, and they also sell excellent meat and eggs as well. They have a large selection of plumbing and electrical parts, definitely requires some searching. The barn is pretty large and stretches up and down stairs.

Me.Kenyon is really nice an they might be inclined to really help u out IF they know you an your down an out an your from waitsfield Vermont.But if you don't have a house here or they don't know you as a REGULAR CUSTOMER then don't bother asking cause it won't happen.Old fashion with old fashion attitude..

The Kenyon family and Kenyon's Variety store are valuable members of the Mad River Valley community. They are a fine Vermont family and run a respectable and essential business. I used them for decades when I had horses in Vermont -- old Howard Kenyon let me board my horse at their Kenyon Farm when I first acquired that Morgan-cross gelding back in the early 1980s; then serving the needs of my home and Oldstyle Morgans farm in Moretown. They also allowed our local Mad River Riding & Driving Club to hold horse shows, sleigh rallies, and other horse events at their farm. I still stop by Kenyon's when I am back in Vermont. And will be able to do so more often now that I have obtained a summer place in Vermont. Highly recommend them.

I love this place! Everything you need! They have garden supplies, plumbing, electrical, fishing, farm, pet supplies... I can keep going! They are all super helpful if you need information about anything from raising chickens to growing blueberries. At the beginning of the pandemic my husband had a big plumbing job at our house and they helped him get everything he needed(because the store was closed)with multiple trips downstairs. They also have amazing eggs and meat that you can get there at the store! I know how much I appreciate them as well as the rest of the valley! Thanks Kenyons!

Excellent place for getting items of all kinds , From birdseed to just about anything else hardware like or even gift store like that you can think of. They make beautiful wreaths. I probably shouldn’t say so because I plan to go buy some of them and I hope they will still be there but they do. Very nice people and this is real Vermont.
