Hands down the BEST meat in Vermont. Very friendly folks running the store. Everything is always fresh, trimmed to perfection, and delicious. Bring cash or check. (They take card, but there is a small service fee.) We've been coming here for years, and will continue for many years to come. Our favorites from here are their dried beef and smoked hams :)

My mother bright me here for our Christmas Eve dinner of smoked pork chops. We also bought bacon, salami and 12 year old cheese for a present to my father in-law n as the cheese is the same age as I his granddaughter. This place has such an old school vibe. Right down to the hand written menu board. If your in the area and need meat give them a shot I was thoroughly impressed

They have what you want. Quality. NY, flank, skirt, delmonico, short ribs, chicken, pork, bacon, stuffed sole, jams, cheese, cold cuts...but the best part is: They all are happy to see you & want to help you decide what you need/want.

They don't all know how to cut meat! Ordered 2 strip steaks 11/2 inches thick! Cut on one end and the bottom was not even a 1/4 inch! Will never buy fresh meat again from them

The Locker's cob smoked meat is amazing- I give their bacon as Christmas presents! There regular meats are also wonderul and their deli roast beef is just like home roasted with better slicing. I go every month or 2 to stock up.

Easily the best butcher ive been to in my life. Everything weve had here is delicious. Amazing cob smoked bacon and cheddar cheese, house made hot dogs. Weve bought multiple different cuts of steak and all were pretty incredible.

Local gem that is guarded like a secret by locals (only reason for the -1 star).Traditional butcher with hard to find products and excellent cob-smoked meats. Far superior to other local butchers in regards to variety and selection. Great prices on "cheap cuts" (bacon ends, marrow bones), but also carry quality high-end cuts. Worth the trip! Tell your friends!
