Monica is the kindest soul. Just went and got a massive haul of syrup. The best syrup I’ve ever had. 5 different options with completely varied flavors. She taught us how to syrup is made and why the flavors differ. The syrup is cooked over wood for hours at a time. If you are in Vermont it is a must, the best syrup shop in the whole state.

Hands down, and by far, the absolute best maple syrup we've ever tasted, anywhere! Randy is a super cool, laid back, down to earth guy, who clearly takes a great deal of pride into producing the finest quality maple syrups around. Worth visiting, tasting, and worth every penny. Enthusiastically recommended to all. A+++++

We love the maple syrup made at West Hill Sugar Orchard. After opening the bottle finally, it went in 2 weeks. We found any excuse to make pancakes (something we never do) and the bottle disappeared. We are just ordering more.

Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in the area on a day when they're boiling sap in the spring. It was particularly interesting to see a fully wood fueled process! The friendly staff were welcoming and willing to patiently explain all sorts of things about maple sugaring, and provided samples of the various types of syrup they produce. The range of flavor is quite impressive! We picked up multiple bottles to take home and have been enjoying them immensely.

Great maple syrup! You can tell this was made by people who care about the process. Cool to see an original sugar house in the sugar bush area.

I had the good fortune of acquiring several bottles from these folks. This is hands down the best maple syrup I have ever tasted.

A traditional sugar shack making maple syrup the old way: collected by bucket and boiled over a wood fire. Tastes incredibly rich and smoky. Definitely check it out!

West hill sugar orchard is a small batch sugaring shack in Warren Vermont. The maple syrup production here is the finest you can get, it is made using authentic techniques, collected by bucket and boiled over a wood fire. The result is a syrup with a fine character and a taste purer than any other you can buy. The batches are small and the opportunity to have the syrup is only a short time. But the shack itself is a marvel to behold as a historic building. The owner, Glenn, is a fantastic gentleman and great conversation. Anyone passing to sugarbush mountain should stop for a look in March/April sugaring season.
