Cool tour! Especially for how cheap it is. We got a sample of cookie dough chunks as well as sweet cream & cookie ice cream. Our tour guide was fun and puny, and the tour was informative. The only disappointment was how long the ice cream line was. It was at least an hour wait which seems ridiculous, so we skipped it. Otherwise the tour itself was neat!

Solid 4 stars! I wish they did more with this place because they could and I'm sure families would be happy to spend the day there and enjoy more ice cream fun! The tour was quick, then we got ice cream, took some pictures, checked out the flavor graveyard and left. There is also a playground which was a nice touch.

Came here on a trip with my fiancée. It's definitely a touristy place you must check out. They open at 10a, so make sure you're aware of their times. The parking lot is fairly large. It's awkwardly shaped and moves 1 way.The first thing we did was check the cemetery with the retired flavors out to rest. It's quite a walk, so be prepared and have relaxing shoes! There's a large playground for the kids. There's an inside eatery where you can order ice cream. We didn't order anything. It was expensive, so we passed. We walked around a bit. It was a cool place to see. There's no cost to visit. No tickets are required for entry. This is a nice spot to spend a couple of hours if you have time.

A must-go when in Vermont! I love everything that Ben and Jerry's stands for and will happily support everything the company does! We went for a factory tour (30 min), and tickets should be bought in advanced online, but we were able to snag tickets last minute in person! Of note, tour tickets are not purchased in the same building as where the tour takes place, but outside in a small shack. The tour includes a short video about the company's history, viewing of the factory (and hearing about how the ice cream is made), and samples! We had chocolate chip cookie dough, which was delicious as always. The ice cream sample of the day was dirt cake, which I have never tried, but it was reminiscent of cookies and cream. If you have any food allergies or intolerances, there are alternate options! The tour guide was super kind, as well as all of the staff there! There is a gift shop at the end of the tour (though you don't need to go on the tour to access!) with lots of fun souvenirs. The cashier was thoughtful at examining our items to make sure it was of excellent quality, and even had us get a different mug that met his standards! We of course had to get ice cream, and tried out the phish food and the berry berry extraordinary sorbet. The phish food was deliciously chocolate with marshmallow chunks, while the berry berry sorbet is a wonderful non-dairy option and super refreshing on a hot summer's day. There is also a playground outside for kids, and the Flavor Graveyard where you can see all of the playful flavor names that have since been retired. Overall, a wonderful time here, and will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I came here during a trip to Vermont. I had never been here before, and everyone told me that it was a necessary stop.I didn't realize that factory tours had to be booked in advance, so unfortunately, we missed our opportunity to do that. We still decided to get ice cream. If you visit on a weekend afternoon, be warned. We waited for 45 minutes. Ben and Jerry's is always good, but we could have gotten it at any other scoop shop and waited for 5 minutes. The flavor graveyard and gift shop were both cool, but didn't warrant going out of the way, in my opinion.

Went here with my parents as part of our Vermont Vacation on August 28th 2023. My dad and I enjoy ice cream, so we wanted to make this a stop on our vacation. There is parking here, and it is free. There is a playground area for kids to stretch their legs, as well as the Ben & Jerry's flavor graveyard. The flavor graveyard is a place where ben and jerry retire their ice cream, at least they commemorate it by giving it a spot there. Outside the factory, there is also a ben and jerry's ice cream stand where one can get your favorite flavors of ben and jerrys. Into the entrance of the factory, lots of pictures of cows, as well as ice cream containers of their favorite flavors. Tours start every 15 minutes. My mom accidently brought tickets for the wrong day, but was able to switch them with the ticket person who was outside the factory. While changing our tickets, my dad and i tried their popular flavor Cherry Garcia, which wasn't bad. We were able to go to the next tour at 11:45am, and was all ready for the tour. First, there is a movie that one watches to learn about the company- it is mentioned that they hire refrugees-- to avoid politics, i do suggest that it should be edited and say we hire everybody irregardless of who they are, or where they come from, making it an american company indeed! Anyways, after the movie was the factory tour, where we learned and saw some of the steps to make ben and jerry's ice cream. We also sampled their cookie dough, which i had 2 because my mom didn't like hers. After viewing the factory, we went to the flavor lab, and tasted a free sample of Marshmellow sky, which was a blue ice cream with marshmellows and chocolate, which was good! Definetely different than cotton candy. Speaking about Cotton Candy, they should try to make a flavor like that! Tour guide was very nice. After the tour and the samples, we went outside the factory again, and had some more ice cream. I got the chocolate fudge brownie in a cup, my mom had the chunky monkey on a cone, and my dad had a chunky monkey shake. i enjoyed the chocolate fudge brownie, which is chocolate with brownie crumbles. My favorite flavor though, is Plish food. We also brought a magnet from the gift shop. Then, we headed to the flavor graveyard. interesting stop, and highly recommend for the ice cream lovers!

I loved the tour it was great! The movie clip was cool and inspiring. I loved seeing the factory and we had marshmallow sky samples I think that's my new favorite flavor ? I went to see the flavor graveyard it was fun reading the tombs. I went to the scoop shop afterward and got a small ice cream on a waffle cone. I picked a new flavor called, lights! caramel! action! I also took a pint of the blueberry sorbet to go. It was a fun experience and I'm glad I went and checked it out.

We called in for a tour & a tasting on a recent road trip. It is best to book your tour well in advance. The staff was very friendly & the tour guide was wonderful. On the tour no pictures were allowed of the process. We got to try a flavor one can only get there & not marketed to the public. We learned there are tasters who make sure the quality is tip top. They also receive a benefit of a health club membership. Who wouldn't want that job?The whole visit was about an hour to see most. We didn't visit the graveyard with headstones of retired flavors. It is a big campus. Be prepared for a bit of a work out on a rather large step climb. There is plenty of accessible parking.I highly suggest a visit.

Its awesome! Little piece of history, where a small shop expanded without really being the goal behind and still manage as a local business. Tour is 7$ for about 30 min, you see the plant, taste a new ice cream flavour, and learn more about them. I recommend

Was driving through the area and made a point of stopping in. I bought tour (timed) tickets in advance, which I felt was helpful to avoid the crowds when I got there. Once parked, we first got to see the flavor graveyard, which was amusing. We then went inside and did the tour, which was fun and we got some good samples. Well worth the visit!

We for the factory tour. Definitely recommend buying tickets in advance, it packs up fast. The tour is informative, great setup for families and all. Watching the production steps was really cool. The samples at the end were fantastic. Great gift shop. The short walk to the ice cream cemetery was worth it. We wanted to get sundaes from the outside ice cream shop, you dont need a ticket for this, but the line was over 30 minutes long. Definitely recommend coming here, even if just got ice cream, if you are in the area.

This is a perfect place to go young or old. Do this on a hot summer day. Make sure to check out the flavor cemetery and then finish off with some fresh ice cream. BTW the cones are fresh and amazing, the ice cream tastes the same as you would get from the store. My only complaint and it is not there fault, the direction signs are a bit misleading. Like the playground is mislabeled by 1 sign as a cemetery but the actual cemetery is just on the next hill.

Went to the factory tour and it was short and sweet; we were done in about half an hour. We managed to book the day of for early evening and when we arrived the wing out front said tickets sold out for the day. You get to sample some new ice cream they are working on, which was cool. There are two playgrounds side by side. One is classic and tailored to smaller kids and the other one is for bigger kids and differently designed and kind of neat. Plenty if seats to sit and eat your ice cream or just watch your kids. The Flavor Graveyard was neat too. Nice way to kill time and pretty cheap! About $15 for a family of four to take the tour.

We just loved the place and please do go there unannounced if you want to visit the factory because it always booked so better plan ahead of time and do online booking for factory tour.Otherwise if stopped for ice cream that is fine. They have nice flavors to try which you see in the pictures. We had some fun by taking pictures and eating the ice cream. We were not able to visit the factory because of the waiting time for around 3 hours since we were traveling to NY SO we could wait but if you can wait please ?Otherwise great location, lovely ideas of old flavors graves , photos and ice cream to enjoy.Must added to your stop if visiting there ??
