Austrian Haus Lodge is a rustic, clean, economical ski lodge located just a few minutes from Mt Snow ski fields and within ten minutes of bars and restaurants. It offers a sauna and a heated pool, and a free shuttle bus and free parking for guests. Breakfast is cold, with cereal, oats, coffee and toast, but no eggs, bacon, waffles or pancakes. The renovated bathroom has warm showers and heating in both the bathroom and bedroom, though some rooms are a bit outdated and some guests noted the lack of a refrigerator. The owners are kind and helpful, and the staff are friendly. Guests enjoy the homemade Indian food, the nearby super cool brewery with live music, and the old school Vermont feel. It is an affordable vintage lodge that is well maintained and a perfect basecamp for skiing. Many recommend staying again for its great service, care and the chance to lay your head after a day on the slopes.
Definitely could use some upgrades and updates. My husband would have probably given it a 1 * as he was not impressed, he's tall and our room was in the eaves...but the kids loved the experience and the pool, and I wanted a cheap stay near the mountain.

Thanks for a lovely stat! It's an affordable vintage, but very well maintained,.ski lodge with homemade Indian food. Perfect basecamp for skiing and right next to a super cool brewery with live music. Would come back. The pool and sauna looked nice, this we didn't have a chance to use them. Had a great stay! The owners are really pleasant people and close to the slopes. It’s rustic,clean, economical and has that old school Vermont feel. Great brewery within walking distance too.
