Stayed for a few nights over Labor day weekend and it was fantastic. We arrived a little early but we did not have a problem checking in. Guest services was very nice and pleasant. We booked a studio suite with a kitchenette. The room was very clean and the kitchen had all the pots, pans, cups and utensils we needed for our family meals. It also had a full size fridge with a freezer which was very convenient. The outdoor heated pool and hot tubs were definitely the highlight of our stay. There are two large hot tubs outside and a dry sauna and wet sauna along with a gym for hotel guests to use inside. The saunas were very clean and was a nice surprise. There are hiking trails on the mountain as well as mountain biking trails and the scenic chair lift up and down the mountain. There are many hiking trails and swimming holes nearby as well as ATV rentals. During our stay the hotel was hosting a brewery event and there was a garlic festival going on nearby. Over all, great hotel with a lot to do regardless of the season.

This is where I’ve grown up skiing, and could not recommend it more. The skiing is great, if you want Vermont skiing without driving extremely far.

Room is nice! Price for the room was great. Staff is super nice. I'd say the only drawback is that everything is closed this time of year. Yet if you want quiet, this is the place.

Decent skiing, but the pricing is garbage. Almost $180 to ski a late spring day? And that was a discounted ticket…Vail Resorts should be ashamed!!! This used to be a friendly resort, but with vail ownership, it’s gone down hill

I love this place. Great snowmaking, lovely staff, and fun trails. Food is meh from the cafeteria, but the Burrito bar, pizza shop and Cuzzins are top notch.

This mountain has gone so downhill. We went on a day where the mountain needed snow. And with the most snow machines in Vermont and none were on. The whole mountain was a sheet of ice. And the lift ticket was $190. I’ll pass. Jay Peak all the way.

Good mid-sized East coast resort, the first bigger mountain in the south of Vermont that folks from MA, NY and NJ make it to, which adds to its appeal. Good beginner to mid mountain.
The mountain can get windy which closed some lifts on the days we were there, and the facilities are a little aged, but generally not too expensive with purchased tickets and classes ahead of time. If you have an Epic pass, it's even better deals for you. Blue courses on the back side and shoulder are best for fewest people, the main lifts can take some time to get up and onto the mountain particularly when windy and only a couple lifts end up open.
Parking wasn't too bad - $20 for a semi-near lot or free for the farthest lots. It does get packed, but there's a nice drop off line for the ski school - get there early though as checking in and getting equipment can cost some time.
For those of you with your own gear, get your tickets ahead of time. The line at the ticket counter was long!
Waffle Cabin was a hit, but the food was more expensive than at the airport...$10 slice of pizza makes NYC pricing look reasonable. The hot mac & cheese was expensive but delicious. Free bag check if you get there early - it gets full quickly during the day!
On a warm day, some puddles, so watch out. Plenty of bars though some don't open early so the line to get into one of them was from the door to the ski shop!
They also have one of the best terrain parks in Carpathia, lots of people talking about the giant pipe and great ski and snowboarders practicing there.

Wonderful- especially for families. I've raised my kids on this mountain. They know every trail.

Iconic ski resort. Especially good for Epic pass holders.

An amazing, big mountain! Beautiful trails and we'll maintained. However, it was windy and Vail has strict rules around the lifts operating in those conditions, so way too people were only using one lift. Very disappointing

Worst ski resort I've been to in my life. Picture says it all. Hard ice and packed crowds. They shut down half the lifts after lunch for some reason.
