Mount Snow is harassing climbers and back country skiers. If you are a climber / back country skier you should consider other ski resorts.I was climbing on the approved climbing route at 8am and got told by ski patrol the Mountain was closed for climbing. No real explanation other than basically "my bosses don't want you on the mountain".Will take my family and my dollars somewhere else from now on.

I was cheated by Mount Snow. I drove a long way and Mount Snow refused to honor the ticket I bought. They said my only alternative was to pay the full $129 for a new ticket Details: I bought a one day epic pass. I called see if I could go to both Okemo and Mount Snow on my pass.It was clearly explained to me: the 24 hour clock starts the first time you use the lift. I can start my ski day at 1:00 pm at Okemo then, the next morning, ski until 1:00 pm at Mount Snow. The information I was given turned out to be incorrect. The customer service counter at Mount Snow acknowledged that I was told I could use my pass but that I was misinformed. Liana attempted to resolve the problem but her boss refused to budge. She said I must pay $129 to cover their error.I called Epic Pass support. They also acknowledged that I had been misinformed but refused to make good.

So disappointed with Mount Snow. I had a complaint last year when my family of five went skiing for my daughter's birthday. Was told all lifts were open when I called. Paid a lot for lift tickets, hotel and rentals. When we got there (after a long drive) only one lift was open, it only went 1/2 way up, and was black diamond/too advanced for my child - not to mention it was over an hour wait to go up. All I was told was that the lifts froze and that I could not get a refund or lift ticket for another day. I subsequently sent an email asking what actually happened and to share my displeasure. No response. Sent a second. Still no response to this day. And yet I get constant emails about epic pass, etc. Not going to Mount Snow anymore.

I'm disappointed that it was $30 per person to take the lift to the top to eat!!!

Mt. Snow (& Stratton, which is about a 15 minute drive away from Mt. Snow) was where I continued to train/learn how to race after first learning to Ski/PeeWee League race at Haystack (where I'd also learned to actually ⛷️) over a period of two Winters when I was a kid growing up. My parent's house was in South Newfane, which is VERY close by to both Haystack/Mt. Snow.In Southern Vermont, Mt. Snow and Stratton have the BEST Ski & Snowboard Schools available to people skiing these mountains. Each ? individually has an impressive school and racing training program, but collectively it's world-class. Mt. Snow & Stratton also helped me obtain membership in the Vermont Alpine Racing Association (VARA) which allowed me to continue to gain racing experience as I got older at other Vermont Mountains as I transitioned from PeeWee to a Junior League racer. After training in Vermont for about five years, I went abroad and skied/raced in Scotland, Switzerland, Italy, France & Austria for three years from 1984-1987. Racing in Europe was EXTREMELY exciting and it was only because I trained in Vermont that I was able to compete at that level. When I came back from living/racing in Europe, I continued Junior League racing in Vermont for VARA, and competed at mountains all over the state, plus in upstate NY, MA, NH & ME. This allowed me to then compete at the National Level in Aspen & Lake Tahoe during my high school years.During college (I went to college in New England also down in Western Massachusetts), I founded and Head Coached my college's first downhill Alpine ⛷️ team, and led them to four annual USCSA Eastern & Mideastern Conference Championships where we placed very highly as a collegiate team. We also competed and placed very high up in the USCSA Regional races as well. And held our own at invitationals against the Amherst, UMass, Middlebury, Dartmouth, UVM, UNH, UM & New England College ? teams as well.ALL of these accomplishments would NEVER have been possible if it hadn't been for all that early training I'd had @ Haystack, Mt. Snow & Stratton. The BEST ?️'s in Southern VT.

With a few inches of snow last night, today has been an amazing spring skiing day. Perfect conditions if you look beyond the wind.

Excellent experience. The trail was great with light powder and a hint of ice spots but not bad. I'll come back again!

I have been a loyal patron and seasons pass holder at Mount Snow for over 10 years. I ate the food. Drank the drinks. Attended concerts and festivals. Brought friends with me every damn time. The whole 9 yards. But this year marks the year that Mt Snow died to me. I ended up having to leave the mountain without skiing (4hr round trip for nothing) because staff refused to provide me with my seasons pass. When I asked for a refund on my pass, The supervisor at the main face ticket windows was VERY rude and condescending towards me. She told me the only way I could ski that day was if I bought a $120 pass. No refunds on seasons passes. No exceptions. Nothing says customer service like telling a 10+yr szn pass holder to f*#k off! :)Shortly after this, I injured myself at work and was instructed by my physician that I can't ski this year. Applied for a refund. Once again, I am being forced to jump through hoops as vail drags their feet. They could refuse to refund me if I didn't report my injury within 30 days of injury date!!!! How pathetic. Their snow conditions have went downhill. Fewer trails open to save $$$. The terrain parks offer no variety or change from previous years. Price gouging has worsened. Their customer service is atrocious. The lodges are pathetically staffed. They have fired a majority of their senior employees to replace them with more international workers..... the list goes on. Vail resorts ruined this great mountain and is quickly killing the local economy, too. Don't waste your money at mount snow.

Fantastic skiing, especially if you like cruising down blue squares. What's awful is the way the resort and lodges are managed by Vail resorts. That parts complete garbage. I would never stay here at the Grand Summit Resort, and also bring your own food because there's limited options, or sometimes no food at all.

Such an amazing mountain to ski or snowboard on. The slopes were super fun and they had some great beginner and intermediate slopes. The ski lift actually slows down when people get off which is nice as not many places do that and then it's chaos they also had a lot of food and drink options around the mountain and the rentals were nice to use while on the mountain. The snow was powdery which isn't easy to find in the northeast. Great experience and will probably end up getting a season pass next year.

We stopped by for a day of skiing and had a great day. It's been awhile since I've been here but it's exactly how I remember it. This has been a weird winter all over and there has not been a lot of new snowfall this season. However, we were impressed with the level of grooming on the trails and how well they maintained the snow they had. We were fortunate to be able to come on a weekday. Hardly any lines and great skiing all day. Decent elevation means longer trails and also plenty of blue trails to cruise. A great place to visit if you are just starting out in Vermont or have a group with mixed levels of ability.

Had multiple lessons here over a few days for myself and kids 6-8 yo. Can’t say enough about how professional, patient, and accommodating the ski school staff and instructors are at Mt Snow. We all made huge strides, gained confidence, and most importantly had a ton of fun. Thanks to everyone and especially Kevin, Dominic, and Geno.

We came on a 3-day weekend. Friday was nice, no lines. Saturday was packed but the workers are efficient. Rental is very easy, the workers are from all over the world and are professional and get you the right gear for your size and weight. The courses itself are pretty good and Mt. Snow has the most snow maker machines so on days where it wasn't the best the machines make up for it. It's no West Coast but I enjoy green courses and just cruising so that's good enough for me. The lessons are actually very helpful. Group lessons are $100 for 2.5 hours. Do not do the private lessons, that costs $460. Group lessons on a less crowded day essentially become private lessons.

The people who work here really make the experience worth it. Slopes are good. Some trails aren't open during the weekdays which means some greens and blues can get crowded. Been here for two seasons and have had a good time each time. My advice: buy the epic pass ahead of time so you don't get gouged.

Mount Snow.My favorite ski resort of all the ones I visited (limited) and farthest away from NYC. It's been 6yrs since the last time we came here. So glad to be back!Weather conditions were clear one day and foggy cold the next. Nice views. Not many lifts were open when we came (early mid- December) but decent enough that we were able to go up the mountains. We went early in the week (Monday to Thursday) which was lovely because no crowd. We had the space to practice and get used to the mountains again after last season. We had a friend that is a newbie and she had the whole bunny hill to practice without any worries. Amazing times! Thanks again for your beautiful mountain and services!!!!
