Hampton Inn White River Junction is an older hotel located conveniently near many restaurants and shopping areas, making it a good choice for those wanting easy access to dining and retail options. The hotel is welcoming to large vehicles like RVs and tour buses, with staff willing to accommodate parking needs. Guests generally find the outside upkeep and rooms to be pretty good, with digital check-in and check-out working smoothly. The hotel offers a hot breakfast with a limited but tasty selection, including bacon, omelets, potatoes, fresh fruit, muffins, waffles, and beverages, which many guests enjoyed. The beds are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for most. Some issues include older furniture, such as a dirty lounge chair, and a somewhat smaller room than expected. The accessible bathroom may have a weak shower due to a leak, which could be problematic for mobility needs. A few guests noticed minor concerns, like a food wrap covering the smoke detector or a lock that didn’t work initially, but staff responded well when problems arose. Overall, the hotel provides a clean and friendly environment, and many guests would stay again, especially appreciating its location and friendly staff.
What you would expect from an older hotel. The lounge chair was so dirty we didn't use it. The beds are not the best pretty hard.
January 2026
This hotel is surrounded by good restaurants and shopping places. The room is little smaller than expected but it is clean. The front desk who checked us in was friendly. The breakfast runs from 6-10AM, the food was editable but limited selection. I would stay in this hotel again.
