I was a happy Chase customer for many years--until I took out a mortgage with them. These clowns are wholly ignorant regarding local mortgage and tax laws. I wasted several thousand dollars at closing, and will be spending thousands more every year than expected, because of their incompetence. The Chase "Executive Office" received my complaint and proceeded to mansplain to me how taxes work (like I don't know) and spewed inaccurate corporate-speak without a single word of apology or effort to remediate the situation.I've closed all of my Chase accounts and am counting the days to refinance the mortgage so that I never have to deal with them again. I regret not staying with a local lender and won't be making that mistake in the future.Edit:I had to call Chase to prompt them to reassess my escrow, which they should have done 6 months ago, and my monthly payment increased 19%. I cannot warn everyone enough to avoid Chase for any home purchasing needs. Stay local.

I went in to deposit some checks into my well-established checking account and without explanation I was told that I had to wait a number of days for the funds to clear. There were no customers at the bank but I interrupted a chat that a suit-wearing Chase rep was having with a female rep. It felt like I was disturbing him, but I needed service, so he passes me off to a very young man (who was "hiding") who led me to his teller window. That youngster just wanted me to go away. Maybe the guy in the suit was making plans for a tryst with the lady... No "thank you" or other type of goodbye. Maybe the teller wanted to finish his tuna sandwich. So sorry to have disturbed you! That (Williston) branch is going to close—not enough customers and the lazy humans employed there help to sink that useless branch. Foolish me for opening an account there for a 300.00 bonus. That branch (or a twig?) will be gone within a year...unless they like to operate branches in the red.Back to TD I will go—they have their issues too but at least there's branches in almost every town with employees that feel like working for a living instead of chatting with co-workers.I never had these problems at TD and was able to cash large checks without being made to feel like a scammer.Just because Chase scams people, it doesn't mean that the customers mirror them. You're projecting, Chase.I have to say—what a neatly kept establishment. Easy to keep clean without all that annoying customer foot traffic! It gleams! I've been to funerals where there were more signs of life.Banking at Chase is like shopping at Wally-World—same quality experience. Expect the worst at Chase in Williston and you'll never be disappointed.

I don't understand the 1 star reviews because this is the best bank branch I've ever been too. They care about me over my wallet. They are good people just doing their jobs and I appreciate them all.

I love chase! I am not sure what others are talking about with customer service. I feel like they go above and beyond with me and my business needs. It’s been a night and day improvement from our last bank. I will never change banks again. So relieved to have a Chase in vermont finally!

Worst bank ever! Had a very friendly meeting to open a business account, but we were missing 1 document (ours was out of date). Everything was ready to be signed. We returned 2 days later (2 hour drive) to bring the missing doc and open the account, but were met by another guy with a completely different attitude. He didn't try to accomodate us and wouldn't even apologize for making us drive 2 hours for nothing. The first guy was nowhere to be found and didn't leave any traces of the first meeting. Avoid at all costs.

To say this establishment is "bad" or "challenging" does not do justice to those words. This branch is one of the worst retail banking experiences I've ever encountered, add to that the Branch manager does not know his business and you have a recipe for a bad time. Stay away from this one.
