Habitat ReStore is a favorite second hand store and a great place to shop. It is a treasure trove where you never know what you will find, from furniture, appliances, and home goods to toys, records, electronics, clothing, and more. Most items for sale are good, clean, and in better condition compared to other second hand stores. The selection is incredible and varied, including brand new and gently used things. Prices can be arbitrary, with some items priced high or inexplicably expensive, while others are fair and a good deal. More often than not, there are bargains waiting to be found. The employees are noted as being nice. All proceeds help build affordable homes in the community.
When you reopen, a better business model might be to eliminate the male volunteer who is stocking his antique business by “volunteering”, and also brings donations out of the back room to his dealer friends. Makes me not want to shop there.
