After struggling to find a shopping cart past the outdoor eating franchise, was shocked how dirty, disorganized and sloppy this location has become. The left side parking lot is strewn with debris, cardboard/wood strewn about totally unkept. Inside the store, same thing. Shelves empty yet aisles loaded with product making it difficult to navigate down the row. The outdoor area is a disgrace, aisles again jammed with product while shelves WITH THE PRICES, barely restocked. Be careful with the prices here....what you think is a certain price, at the register, you find it's not what was on the shelving. And the worst of all is employees sitting in lawn chairs INSIDE THE STORE, at the outdoor garden register, a disinterested person, others wandering about and certainly not focused on their work areas or store appearance. Headed to Loews as this Home Depot has lost it's way of customer service/appreciation.

What a joke of a business. Rented a pressure washer which after renting it, the counter person told me the handle had an issue with it. Well so be it, I got use it the day after and the handle ripped right off. I bring it back. They give me 20$ off my totally rental price hahahaha! They charged me for their faulty equipment that I couldn’t even use. Sunbelt rentals will always be my go to. Avoid Home Depot rentals at all costs. They need to get their priorities straight and better equipment care is much needed !!

It’s always great to pay $175 dollar for renting equipment and then get yelled at upon return for leaving a fuel intake switch on and then threatened with additional charges and told your the only customer to have ever done that.
I love it when the rental person says “you’re the only person in the history of the store to make that mistake with the tool you rented”. Love that

Ordering for curbside pick-up is a joke. Ordered items one evening hours before closing so I could get the following day. By noon the next day, still no notification that items were ready. Canceled order and went to Lowe's. Should have just ordered from there to begin with.

Local store: needs to improve staff training. Young dude at night told me they only tint paint, not primer and refused to do it even though I had the label from when they did it last time. Came in during the day and the young UVM student employee was extremely competent and took care of tinting the primer.
Corporate: prices have gone way up and need to come down. Also, quality seems down. Bought some Simonton windows from HD and had them installed about ten years ago - everything was great. Had a few more windows done last year and two sashes needed to be replaced, they caulked one window shut, and all the screens were damaged. They still haven't resolved all the issues.

I picked up a jackhammer at the rental office and had a very pleasant experience. I especially want to give a shout out to George who was very friendly and helpful, really feel like he went out of way !

Instacart checkout didn't work, sales rep got store manager involved rather than giving me space so that I could contact Instacart support.

The store is a total mess. The return lane is train wreck. It's just a bad experience in all ways.

Ordered carpet for a nursery (time sensitive!) with install from the Williston location and they said it would be two weeks to get the carpet and then they would schedule an install date. Turns out ALL OF VERMONT goes through an installer from BOSTON that cancels constantly for no reason. It's been two months already and they have cancelled twice the day before the installation. Home depot doesn't even have the carpet! it's in the installers warehouse! Don't use their install service!!!

What happened to the knowledgeable associates who knew where things were and could recommend alternatives? At this point, I'd settle for one that didn't give me a blank stare when I asked which aisle something was in. Did covid kill customer service?
