The nicest laundromat in the county. Friendly people, extremely clean, comfortable.

This place is always clean, all units seem to operate with none out of order, and the owner is almost always on site. You have the option of using an app to pay or cash (app for drying only seems to be for larger dryers but no biggie). There is a nice little place to sit and relax while waiting and a small "business area". I really appreciated this location as many of the others in the area were filthy, sketchy, and had machines that were broken. The price is a bit higher than others but well worth every penny. I was in the area for business for 5 months and never had an issue there. This owner certainly takes pride in his establishment and it shows. I even saw him dusting the small nooks that most places would never consider cleaning.

This is my favorite laundromat in the area! The owner is so nice and keeps the shop clean. The PayRange app is easy to use (even though it's +.50 to cover their fees) and makes it so I don't have to carry quarters. I do wish there was a bar to prop my feet on at the window seats though...haha

This is one of the best laundromats I’ve used. Clean, friendly, really great machines, and reasonably priced.

So I was going to 99 for years until I discovered CQ. I love that there’s an attendant or two on the premises all the time! (Maybe the owners, I’m not certain). They keep it clean and customers from talking on speakerphone, making messes, listening to videos on blast, etc. This makes a huge difference. It’s a peaceful place to be which is rare for laundos. Plus they offer a wash card for regulars (you eventually get a free one).

I don’t usually do reviews but honestly this place deserves it. It’s 1st off, in a good location and kind of hidden away from the highway a little bit. 2nd off, the owner is here literally every single day working and is happy to help if you have any questions. 3rd even when I’ve come in and if it’s a bit busy there’s still a lot of washers/dryers to use. There’s also a nice place to sit and they have tvs on that you can watch to make the time go by. Honestly just a cute, nice little place to get your laundry done and feel safe in doing so bc some of the places around here can be really sketchy. It is a bit pricer than some of the laundromats around but personally for me this one is worth it. I also drive past probably 4 other laundromats while I lived here so that’s really saying something

I had politely told him that I couldn't get the key out. This guy is very rude has serious attitude problems. You do NOT have to worry about me returning. You're the one with destructive behavior and nasty disposition.

Laundromats in Burlington are like STDs. Ya have AIDs which will kill you. Herpes which sticks with you forever. Chlamydia and gonorrhea which you can get treated. They all suck, but some are worse than others. Clothes Quarters is the gonorrhea of Burlington laundromats. It's not good, but not the worst. Double Bubble in Montpelier is a nice disease free facility. Almost worth the hour drive. You'd be OK with taking her home to meet the parents. Clothes Quarters....she's the girl ya call when you're desperate.

Some say best, laundromat ever, but they helped me out on my travels when I needed to wash my clothes. Also, coming from NYC it did feel like the best laundromat ever! Little cafe, vending machines, drop off service, soap and fabric softener on sale. Machines so awesome too!Place is clean, neat, and tidy all round. It was really nice! Who says that about a laundromat!?

I have never been to this laundromat before, but since I have been living at the Motel 6 in Colchester for almost 18 months, I really needed to do my laundry! So I packed up all of my dirty laundry and headed over to this laundromat. It was such a wonderful experience to be helped by an African American Woman who went way above and beyond to make sure that she took Care of me. I am a Paraplegic in a Wheelchair, But I will give my word too anyone who is considering doing their laundry at a local laundromat, they really should consider doing their laundry at Clothes Quarters Laundromat in colchester. The employees are so kind and considerate to their customers and will do whatever they can to make sure that you are very well taken Care of! I know that I will definitely be doing my laundry here for the first day and every day I need to do my laundry. They are so great at customer service and I really can't say enough on how well I was treated here.

It’s a nice laundromat. My girlfriend and I have been going there for nearly two years because it’s the best one in our area. It’s kept clean and the prices are fair. I’m giving it four stars instead of five because of an interaction I had with the owner. We were having an issue with one of the dryers, and when I asked for assistance he was rude and patronizing towards us. I was honestly taken aback, because we’ve been to this laundromat 50+ times and I know he knows who we are by our faces. He acted like we were making the issue up, or just outright lying about it. We’ve never had issues with him before, or with the equipment, so I’m not going to leave a one or two star review based on one negative interaction. Maybe he was just having a bad day, I don’t know. We’re all human. But with that said, the interaction left a bad taste in our mouths, and we aren’t sure we will go back.In response to owners comment: Yes, I understand the machine worked when you took the quarters out and put them back in. But when you say “the machine will always register any quarter that it actually accepts” you are implying that we are either lying or that we didn’t put the quarters in correctly. We did put the quarters in. They registered. There weren’t any quarters jammed in the machine. I can assure you that the machine took our quarters because the price kept going down. You even checked for jammed quarters and there weren’t any. When we first went to use the machine it had “$3.00” written on the screen like it normally does. We put a quarter in, and the screen changed to “push start.” We thought maybe someone before us had ended their cycle early and left some time on the clock. When we pushed start the screen briefly flashed “6 minutes” and then flashed “system cooling.” A moment later it told us we still needed to put in $2.75, so we did. All the quarters registered because the price kept going down every time we put in a quarter. We’ve used that exact dryer at least 25 times in the past so we know what it looks and sounds like when a quarter properly registers. You can hear it and see it on the screen because the price will go down. Once we put in all 12 quarters the screen told us to “push start” again but when we did it only read “5 minutes.” I’m really not sure what happened or why it was acting funny, but I can assure you with 100% certainty we put all the quarters in. Ultimately it’s not a big deal. Things happen. I just hope you know that we weren’t trying to scam you out of $3.00 and we certainly aren’t dumb. We do know how to put the quarters in. My girlfriend felt like you were implying that we either didn’t know how to put the quarters in correctly or that we weren’t being 100% truthful, neither of which was the case. You must know it wasn’t due to us putting the quarters in incorrectly because there weren’t any quarters jammed into the machine. We made that mistake once the first times we ever used your laundromat, and haven’t since.Anyways, we really like your laundromat. I just want you to know that we weren’t lying about what happened, and it wasn’t a case of putting in the quarters incorrectly.
