The store is a town general store, still exists and serve the needs of the town. The pizza they have there is also phenomenal. Friendly always very nice and the beauty is nostalgic. The store is absolutely worth stopping in and looking around. It continues to be a beauty spot the town Vermont. Happy choose to see the store and have the great food options.
The Elmore Store is great place to stop and grab a bite to eat and a beer or provisions as you make your way through Vermont. Warm and friendly staff, great food and prices. Don't get me wrong. It's beautiful in there now that the new owners did the complete renovation, but I like it to the disappointment folks felt when New Orleans was rebuilt after Katrina. They cleaned away a lot of the charm of a general store.
