This yarn store is very inviting. Super clean and has an area to sit and stitch. On a nice day walk right over to the creeper trail for a walk. Candy is always helpful.

One of the most special knitting shops in one of the most beautiful locations. They carry items you don’t see elsewhere. I found a very unique yarn from Germany there and the owner found the perfect pattern to go with it for me. I always get compliments on this piece. It turned into a work of art.

Lucy (Owner) and A Likely Yarn are PHENOMENAL! I was working on an afghan and realized I did not have enough yarn to complete the project. I was able to reach out to Lucy when I found my discontinued yarn in her online inventory. Lucy jumped into action and went out of her way to communicate, pull the items for me, and ship them at lightning speed. Because of her help, support, and assistance I was able to finish my afghan and the results are stunning! I will definitely be shopping at A Likely Yarn and supplementing my yarn stash. Above and beyond customer service!! Highly recommended!!!

Great yarn shop even if you do t crochet. The ladies are nice and helpful. It is located in an adorable little building next to the Virginia Creeper trail. So stop by on your next walk.

Under new ownership and not quite the same place. Went in for circular cords and was given packages that had the wrong sizes inside of both of them.

My mom and I went for the first time the other day. Mom loved the quality selection of yarn - I don’t knit but I was thrilled to see a section for embroidery! Everyone was very kind and helpful, and the atmosphere of the store itself was very warm and inviting.

This is my yarn store and I can tell you from years of shopping there that it's the BEST yarn shop in the Tri-Cities area of SWVA/TN. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. I feel extremely fortunate to have a yarn store of this quality in a rather rural area. Be sure to check them out if you're ever in Abingdon, VA! They're just off Exit 14 and/or 17.

This is a most unique place. It feels like home. The staff could be family. Plus the inventory of beautiful yarns and accessories is unbelievable. Classes are taught by experts who are patient. But best of all, individual assistance is always available. What a special place.

This yarn shop is just amazing ? Kristine and Haley are super helpful, always available to answer any question. The shop has really created a community of crafters (crochet, knit, neddle felting, weave, etc.) and are welcoming to all. Go visit, please. Just go .. now ??
