This is the perfect, no frills motel, for getting sleep. No pool, no gym, no breakfast, no toiletries. Just a clean room with clean bedding. Nice host, quiet location. My second time there. A value for about 80.00

Great retro motel in Abingdon, VA right off the interstate. I've stayed here on a couple of occasions and found it to be a nice affordable place to stay. I like the handiness of being able to park right outside your door and the view of the mountains is great. It's very basic. A room with a frig, tv and microwave but that's all I need. Neat and clean. Service is a bit lacking. If your expecting a warm smile at check-in and a thanks for staying, come back and see us at check-out, maybe go somewhere else. Otherwise, no complaints.

If your expectations are in line, this place is fine for what it is. Nothing fancy, just the essentials which is in line with a cheap no frills place to crash.

Decent place and a quiet stay. AC unit was missing the button to turn ac up. Fridge made loud popping noises throughout the night. They have an ice machine, that's about it.

The room smelled bad. Bugs bit my ankles all through the night. One of the towels was dirty. No wi-fi password was offered.
I usually don't leave reviews, but I hope others will appreciate the warning.

Me and my wife travel south probably 4 to 5 times a year and have discovered this place passing through after the first stay hear we have agreed that this place rocks and will continue to make this place our half way stop each time. That was until last night we stoped in with a room already reserved the time was 1:35 am and there was a sign stating. for night calls please ring door bell. so that exactly what she did and what I'm assuming the owner comes out and starts giving my with and bunch of crap saying why would you come here this late? Pointing at the clock then snatching her ID from her. It took everything to not go in there and make a scene but we were all exhausted and had our daughter with us. WILL NOT BE BACK

Honestly really surprised at how nice the rooms are, wouldn't know it from the outside. There was water all over the floor when we checked in and the toilet was very obviously dirty so that was kinda gross, but if housekeeping stepped up it'd be an easy 5/5

Stopped here for a nights stay while traveling. The room was clean . Not like a normal hotel room. No coffee pot or blow dryer or small essentials . And you better like sleeping on concrete cuz the beds are basically like sleeping on a cement floor.

For the price, this is a very good option for those visiting Abingdon or just passing through. Clean rooms, no frills, and quiet. I was pleased to find this gem while I was heading east. Abingdon is a nice small town with some great sights, arts, and a good restaurant selection. If you’re a bike enthusiast, railfan or hiker, don’t miss the Virginia Creeper Trail.
