since shopping at this DG since the turn of the new year with new management, things haven't gotten better. i’ve watched the new manager verbally degrade her employees, be extremely unprofessional when speaking to customers, speaking to customers about personal things going on within the work place and personal information, and on top of that is just flat out rude. i feel for the employees under the new management.

Lazy,Rude,Incompetent staff avoid this place like the plaque.Especially the one with the initials s.c.if someone has a coupon she has no idea what to do. She needs to move on.

Honestly it’s ridiculous. This is the third time this week they have closed “due to illness” have you ever went to DG needing one single ingredient for dinner and purified water for your 10 month old son to have two elderly ladies locked inside to come out lock the door behind them, neither one of the women who worked there mentioned they were closing to then watch me walk away and continue to laugh as I walk away. As I stated before this is just ridiculous. 825 E Main St Abingdon VA location. I am just outraged by the behavior of these women it honestly makes me think they are just closing the store because it’s “slow” or they don’t wanna be there. I understand disliking your job or just becoming bored or the everyday humdrum but come on. Also I should mention I have no transportation to get to another store because my vehicle is broke down and the transit doesn’t run this late at night so I wish I could give you no stars!

Y’all can hardly run a business and now y’all have to close it hours early before it’s supposed to close all the time if that’s the Best y’all can do get rid of this dg lmao plenty of other around the corner and way nicer to the cxs too! Store never has price on shelf in the register purchased 3pepsi at2.20 each 2mtdews for 2for2.50 rang up2.30 each on all took 2.10off still makes them ripping me of .30 and Barbara was hateful the me saying I need to stop have additude because she can't do simple math please boycott this store

Going downhill! Raise prices more than Walmart....Yet, make people check themselves out just like Walmart! Since when did people think it's okay to DO THE EMPLOYEE'S JOB....without employee pay!???

This is my favorite DG in my area and we have a few. Managers are so nice and all employees are as well. Good place to do your shopping. Clean aisles & stocked great.
