My family went to Misty's florist shop and requested a full casket spray and a vase of daisies to place beside my sister's picture. These were my sister's favorite flowers.
They were shown a picture of a full spray of red roses. They said we wanted the spray in pink roses with some Baby's Breath. Upon arrival at the Family Viewing, I saw the flower arrangements.
We were disappointed, but there was nothing we could do. The spray had about 50 percent of the roses shown in the picture. They were not pink as requested. There was as much extra filler as there were roses. The daisies were in a pitcher type vase with no extra greenery. It made me so sad.
My family was WAY overcharged for these. They would not complain, especially in our time of grief. However, I feel that the flowers were subpar. If they couldn't get the flowers we requested, we should have been notified so we could make other arrangements. I will Not be using this florist in the future and I will not recommend them to anyone.

I am New to Abingdon and have not yet ordered flowers. However I did receive flowers from an out of state relative. She chose a local florist and hoped for the best? Well that is exactly what I got! One of the prettiest arrangements I have ever been given and they smell lovely! Thank you Misty’s

We are staying in the area (Abingdon) for a few month’s temporarily and my kid’s sent me flowers for my birthday! The arrangement is beautiful and I can highly recommend Misty’s Florist!

Excellent customer service and design…..I called Misty’s and explained to one of the designers that I wanted a floral arrangement to display at a church to honor the memory of my mother. The designer asked about my mom’s favorite colors and her interests so that she could personalize the arrangement. She explained other options I had not considered. When the display was ready she even texted a photo for me to review. This was a first for me to get such excellent customer service from a florist. The design was beautiful. The church was very grateful and I think my mom truly was “honored”. Thank you Misty’s !

I live in Florida and ordered flowers by phone for my uncle's funeral. Misty and I discussed several options, and I trusted her to choose a nice arrangement. I told her what I wanted on the card, then called her back to change it up a little. When my cousin sent a picture of the flowers I zoomed in on the card. The words were not what I wanted and even my uncle's name was misspelled! When I called Misty about it, she was apologetic but didn't even offer to discount the flowers or anything for their mistake.Needless to say my suggestion would be if you live in Abingdon don't order flowers from Misty's.

Great customer service!!Adorable shop, too!I called from Florida for a very specific order of four dozen flowers to be picked up locally two days later. Misty’s was able to accommodate my request, did not even ask for a deposit and my order was ready when we arrived to town right ahead of our event.Phone calls were returned promptly. The staff were pleasant and efficient. And the flowers were exactly as intended.You can’t ask for much more than that. Great experience with this business. ?

I ordered an arrangement to be sent to my sister's funeral. I requested they be delivered before 10:00 am when family and friends would be arriving. I saw a $50 arrangement on line that I liked the colors and types of flowers used. I asked if it could be made 3x bigger and a dove added to make it in the $150.00 range. Taxes and fees brought the total to $194.00+.The florist brought in flowers at 10:00, but my order was not among them. The delivery driver didn't know if they had any more ready to go. I sat through the whole funeral thinking my flowers never made it.To my surprise, they did send an arrangement with my card. It looked just like the $50 flowers on line, no dove, and half the names were misspelled.I'll never use this florist again.I'll not recommend them to anyone.

I requested a special centerpiece for my parents' anniversary, a mix of edible fruit and flowers. Misty created something that delighted my parents and exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend this florist .

Over the Top Pleased with Misty’s Florest!! Called from Jackson Hole Wyoming because my friend just became a Doctor and opened a practice. I really wanted something special and could not make up my mind! I had to trust Misty completely to choose a perfect design…. Husband had bouquet delivered for our 33rd wedding anniversary. 3 days later, all of the hydrangeas are dead, a chrysanthemum is shedding, half the roses had zero leaves, 3 roses have heads falling over, 2 pitiful sprigs of babies breath with super short stems, abundant mini stemmed greenery. Worst bouquet I have ever received.

I went to Misty’s Florist on a whim knowing they probably wouldn’t be able to help on such short notice. I visited on late Monday afternoon to see if they could provide funeral flowers for a funeral service on Tuesday morning at 10 am. They were able to accommodate me by providing gorgeous, quality flowers, delivered to the funeral home on a very short notice and at a very reasonable price. The three ladies working in the shop were very kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Misty’s Florist in Abingdon, VA.
