We were traveling through town and developed car trouble, so we stopped the Pioneer Chevrolet service department for help. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and had our car repaired and on the way in just a little over an hour. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for courteous folks and competent staff to service your vehicle. Cheryl M

so i took my truck in because of some grinding in the back and a wobble, they told me that it was a caliper sticking. I'm fine with that but then they told me that all my rotors, brakes and shocks needed to be changed. told me that it would cost 1300 for all the parts. (parts search done)rotors 53X4 = 212brakes 24x2 = 48caliper 88 after core charge. Bringing the grand total up to 348 and that's not considering taxes. so just say 400 to be safe. so i had to pay them 900 outside of parts and this didn't grantee it would fix it. i picked my truck up and they still charged me 106 for a tire balance. i even showed them a video of the back sounding like a hammer was crashing through the differential. absolute trash. trash service, trash mechanics. this is a newer truck. it only has 50K miles and is under warranty. this is why i would rather work on my own stuff. people like this take advantage of people that cant work on there own cars.

This place doesn't deserve one star!! Took my Chevrolet into the service department and told the guy at the service desk exactly what was going on with my vehicle AND told him that a diagnostic test had already been done and I gave him the codes from that test. I was also very clear to him that I did NOT want them doing any repairs without them telling me how much it was going to cost first. About 30 mins later, a guy comes into the waiting area and tells me they found what was wrong and that it was going to cost around $350 to fix it. I told him I will have to wait and bring it back another time to have the work done or take it elsewhere. He told me that I did need an oil change so I told him to go ahead and do an oil change only. When I went to the cashier to pay for my $30 oil change, she tells me I owe $139. I asked why so much for an oil change and she tells me they did a diagnostic test which was $109. I told her I did NOT authorize a diagnostic test and that I had already had one done and gave them the exact codes! I went back to the guy at the service desk and asked why they did another test at $109 when I did not need it done again. He couldn't answer me so I asked to speak to the owner or manager. The owner of the dealership come up to me and asks what he can help me with. I told him that they charged me $109 for a test that I did NOT authorize and I was not paying for. I believe his name was Mr Pope (older guy). He was extremely rude and yelled at me, he said he would not charge me for it but I had better NOT ever step foot on his Dealership again!!! Very unprofessional and disrespectful! I called Chevrolet and filed a complaint. I will NEVER go to that Dealership again!!!!

If I could leave no stars, I would. If you want to spend twice as much money having your car repaired and waste your whole day, this is the place to go. Every area of your car they check is another over $100 charge and they are the slowest I've ever been to. The icing on the cake is they broke my door handle and wouldn't fix it because I had no proof they did it, so they will call their customers liars to get out of what they break. I recommend you avoid this place like the plague.

If you want to waste your time and money, this is the place to go. I mistakenly thought since this was a certified service center that they would be professional and diagnose the issue with my car, a car that was purchased from them. Instead, I ended up spending $300 in tests and one unnecessary part, AND when I went to open my car door, I found that they had also broken the door handle and not bothered to fix it. I will be spreading the news of my experience as much as I can. I spent a lot of time and money to get my car back in worse shape than when I brought it there.

I went into pioneer Chevy to order approximately $2000 worth of truck accessories and I will never set foot back in there! First off....the gentleman in the service department was flat out rude when I told home I needed to order some things. I am the only person back there and you would think that I was asking for the world on a sliver platter! How I could improve Pioneer Chevrolet is to have their ads in magazines such as Bargain Finders show the real photo of the vehicle that they have for sale. My husband and I went to check on a particular truck and when we got there that truck looked nothing at all like the photo. In fact the truck was totally rusted out on the frame and we were told that it would not pass state inspection. It was a first bad impression. I don't know if this will get any attention at all because it is not a positive post, but I hope that in the future this will help the business improve.

They need to put a sign above the parts dept entrance. I had to drive all around the building and stopped twice to ask where it was A vehicle was sitting in front of the door that blocked the small sign on door Simply put a sign above the door

If you are looking for a pile of junk then head on over to Pioneer Chevrolet! Bought a Pathfinder at the end of April! The vehicle looked like it was in wonderful shape and had been taken care of! The day after we purchased it, I took it to have an inspection sticker put on it, only to find out that it needed new breaks! Got that taken care of! The car has been at the shop more times than I can count and Pioneer has refused to do anything but trade us for a brand new car or trade us for another vehicle that is an even bigger pile of junk! Steve was very rude and thought it was a laughing matter! I wouldn't recommend buying a vehicle from this place at all!
