I stopped in Walgreens..Abingdon to get my Covid vaccine..There were several people waiting ..plus customers for prescriptions..The guy who is ths pharmacist is worked to death..He is filling prescriptions as well as giving all the vaccines...and he always has an awesome attitude..Why do they not have a person just for the vaccines??? He is definitely being taken advantage of...

Basically they want to charge 120.00 for a covid test just to administer a flu swab. The covid test over the counter are 23.00 for 2 tests. And then you have the cost of the flu swabs. Makes no sense.

Although the pictures kiosk would not work with my smart phone, Chrystal went above and beyond, trying everything she could to help me get my pictures. She even used her own charger. Finally, she showed me how to order through the store's website on my phone. Very patient and kind! Thank you!

DO NOT USE THIS WALGREENS IF YOU USE TELEHEALTH FOR ANY THERAPY/MENTAL HEALTH PRESCRIPTIONS. The pharmacist at this Walgreens refuses to fill prescriptions for patients who utilize telehealth options during this pandemic. I would give the zero stars if I could. When you use a medication everyday and then are refused your refill is just refused by someone who is not even your doctor, it is extremely frustrating.

Edit/Update: Manager from Walgreens finally spoke with someone about my film and assured me that my film was being developed but was delayed in transit and development and would be mid Feb. before my pictures were shipped back to the store. Though I appreciate finally having a reason...very disappointed it took this to get it done and won't change my review until I have pictures or the undeveloped roll of film in my hands.Dropped off a roll of film that I found at my mothers place after she passed away. Eager to see what the pictures were I took the film to the Abingdon Walgreens on 11-23-2020 and right now, I am on the phone.... ON HOLD... for the 4th time because they still don't have my pictures NOR do they even have the roll of film. The manager has told me that she would contact the company that does their developing and try to track down my film and she would call me back, that was 11 days ago... on Jan. 8, 2021.... and right now I am still on hold, waiting for her to go to the photo department and obviously pretend to do her job.... I AM TIRED OF WAITING!!!! and I hope and pray that they have NOT lost that roll of film... horrible customer service... will NEVER do business with this place again and can NOT recommend them to anyone.

The past couple of reviews I posted were horrible, but true. But, I will have to say in the past three or so months, transactions have ran smoother, employees were polite and helpful, including a pharmacist. I will absolutely give credit where credit is due and Walgreens of Abingdon you have came a long way since this Coronavirus debacle started. I appreciate your services and your employees courtesy. Thank you!

The worst pharmacy ever!! Not only did am I changing pharmacys but my whole family is changing as well after the staff changing prescriptions and when other changes happen like a short in the meds or in changes in the pills the staff will not take the to explain or even tell you about that and when ypu ask questions they get mad and stomp away

My prescriptions were sent to the Abingdon Walgreens after the Rite Aid across the street closed. One of the prescriptions I take is an unusually high dosage, and my insurance will only pay for a 20 day supply. This wasn't an issue at RiteAid, but it's been nothing but a hassle at Walgreens. They continually enter my prescription in as a 30 day supply, even though my insurance AND doctors office has told them 20 days.
