I love Pev's it's a great place for airsoft but I would highly recommend DO NOT PLAY PAINTBALL people are very rude and will shoot you way affter your dead I played paintball at pevs for 1 year and switched to airsoft and I'm still feeling with them. You will be walking by and a paint baller will light you up there like stupid monkeys that see something move and just keep shooting till someone starts screaming at them. The amount of times I've been shot while not in the game is ridiculous the refs need to do something I'm getting tired of it. Even if your on a different map somehow a paintball will hit me and leave a big welt on me. When I first came to Pev's I was in the lunch zone there was speedballers right in front of the waiting area where everyone has there mask off they have these thin nets that do not work I got shot in the back on my head while I'm the safe area where everyone has there mask off. All I got was a cold bottle of water to put it on my head I had a massive bruise and bump on my head for 2 weeks after. I really do like Pev's but inbeteeen the refs not enforcing rules and there whole if a paintballer shoots you can shoot back is just stupid.

Had a lot of fun and great staff. Only complaint was the wait time in between games was a little long. Still had a blast and would recommend

Most legit pro shop in the area. They were the only paintball tech in the area willing to take on trying repair my markers. They got all 4 working perfectly. 3 were dyes and one was a Planet Eclipse.

Our first time doing a birthday party here or even visiting. My kids insisted. It's a good place. We had never done paintball so a very new experience for us. We had to change the birthday as there were heavy rains last week. It was just hard to get in touch with anyone, but we managed to get hold of someone during the weekday to get the party date changed to the following weekend.Staff was very incompetent. You are running a business here, friendliness is the first thing noticed by your customers.Front desk staff was meh. The instructor who was with the kids was very rude. The kids in our party were ranging from 5 years to 12 years. and most of them had not done paintball, he was not at all helpful. just braked out the ground rules and thats it. His expression seemed as if he would rather be anywhere but there. I get it, it's hard to work with kids. I also specifically looked for a job, which does not involve kids. I would rather work with adults. But what are you expecting to be working at a place where all ages come?We bought 2 packages, one with water guns (so younger kids could play) and then low impact paintball (for 8 and older). We had to ask him for any protective gear. And a bunch of questions which he was suppose to take care of. Very unprofessional.Over all we paid 1k plus for this kind of service. Place isn't bad. kids had fun, but all the parents picked up on the staff unprofessional behavior and incompetency.

We had my son’s 10th birthday at Pev’s and every kid said it was the best party they’d ever been to! The staff really made the event what it was- they were friendly, knowledgeable, patient with the kids…really couldn’t have been happy with everything. The fields were great, gear is great shape and easy for the kids to use.Amber was so helpful when booking and answering my 100 questions. And Ryder was really just amazing day-of. He was so helpful, fun and the kids loved him! He really went above and beyond. After seeing all their fun, now I want to go for an adult party!

I don’t usually write reviews but Kevin was extremely rude to my guests. During the initial briefing felt the need to point out that there were far less guests than I had reserved for(felt like rubbing salt in the wounds.) I assume it was because he assembled more gear than necessary but should understand that things happen.Seemed to forget my guests were all adults by making rude comments or asking what was wrong with them while they made quick adjustments to their gear.Yelled at my guest for removing his shirt when he got hot(he was just trying to remove the layer beneath) and said it was a family friendly park… what do you think people do at waterparks?Upsold me on paintballs but called for a water break while we were running short on time. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he was having a bad day but my guest were not whom he should be taking it out on.Also, some common sense might help in the long run.

The ownership genuinely cares about their customers experience and they have a subject matter expert knowledge on the sport. They're safety officers on the field encourage fair play and ensure everybody is safe while navigating amazing courses. One of the best parts of Pevs is the players are kind to younger players and enable thoughts of teamwork, communication and winning. It just couldn't be a better experience.

Pevs Paintball is the best paintball field in the DMV area. Guaranteed a good time for both new players and experienced players. Well organized, very friendly staff and well stocked with all sorts of good gear. They even have .50 cal (lower impact, doesn't hurt nearly as much as standard .68 cal paintballs) perfect for younger and first timers.

I love paintball but we did not have a great experience having a “low impact” party here with 8-10 year old kids. It was hot and muggy, which was fine, but the teenage guide had almost no experience with kids, didn’t explain rules well, was careless with a knife around 8 year olds, and didn’t fully explain a few hidden charges. It turned an extremely expensive party into a bit of a dud.

The corse is very big with many fields. I came with my two 17 year olds for airsoft. We had fun but be ready for the heat. There is only canopy and umbrella on the paintball side near the store. The price to play is expensive and the young man who was refereeing was not very happy to be there nor did he care for enforcement of the rules. He was basically a timer that said stop and go, and looked like he was going to pass out being a heavier set young man. Water is provided in a common area with paintballers. Over all nice features but definitely mostly meant for people playing paintball.

Very nice, very open for different skill levels, excellent variety between maps. Nothing indoor, but everything else is phenomenal. There are small fast paced ones like 66, and larger more tactical areas like bunker. They also run fun modes like Seal Team 6 and 5 Man Hunt if the players want, which is great. I do recommend you check it out.

We went on a weekday and had the place to ourselves. Our host at Pev's was amazing! A young man who was great with our group of 9+ year olds - patient and fun! Everything was easy and went smoothly including the food order. We would recommend Pev's to others planning a party.

Until they either get better rental equipment or separate the walk on groups by equipment level it's going to be a bad experience for casual or one-off players. You basically get thrown in with people for whom this is their life and their gun is their baby. You can literally hear them during the game saying "don't worry, s/he's a rental, they can't hit you". They actually call you a rental. ?There are two classes of players due to equipment disparities, which doesn't make for a good time.Do not recommend dates or guys nights or kids birthdays or any other casual play here until they change it.

Every few months I book two two hour sessions for a huge group of 25-35 firefighters and paramedics. It’s always painless and they are easy to work with. We always have a great time when we go here and will be returning in the future.

Open play was fun, although they lie about their cost of rentals on their website. Listed as $28 for equipment, but when you get there they charge you $59.35 for rental equipment. Will never go again.
