This is a good 7-11. The owners are very friendly and stock a wide array of things you might need in a pinch, or come here for regularly.

Please beware of the ATM at this location. I did one withdrawal here and had multiple fraudulent charges afterwards.

About as good as can be expected from a 7-11. Not open 24 hours, though. They close at midnight.

Absolutely awful experience. Parked in the lot with the intent to buy a few specific things I needed. It was convenient bc I had to run over to the pharmacy *across the street* to pick up an order that was ready and waiting before they closed. The attendant came out and screamed at me to move my car or else I would get towed. I told her I would be back in a few mins and I had the intent to buy something. She said “if everyone did it—“ (I didn’t hear the rest over traffic). I understand that parking is a problem in Alexandria but she didn’t have to be rude and dramatic and it would have cost her nothing to wait 5 mins to see if I really came back and then have the car towed if I didn’t. There was one other car in the lot so I wasn’t taking up space in high demand. I moved my car and bought my items elsewhere.

This place is not the same as other Del Ray shops. There’s always trash on the property and rude employees.

Have to give this location a 5 star for the simple fact of Amanda working here! I have neverrrrrr seen such a positive and enthusiastic worker at a 7-11 and she does it with a smile.

The only place open late on Mt Vernon Ave. As far as 7/11 goes this place is pretty nice. They have a lot of grab and go options. A great place to pick up a late night snack.I wish they'd be open past midnight.

I had a really bad experience with them today. I parked my car in the lot and before I walked in I walked to the sidewalk to see what was along the street (I’m not familiar with Del Ray and the neighborhood looks really nice). The cashier came out and told me I couldn’t park in the lot and even though I insisted multiple times that I was going to buy something (it was hot and my daughter and I stopped for water) she kept insisting that I couldn’t park in the lot. She was very rude and upsetting. I came in and made it clear that her behavior was uncalled for and she refused to take my business. I ended up not buying anything.

A friend from high school had this experience at the 7-Eleven store, 2108 Mount Vernon Alexandria Va. and I review in support of my friend. Discrimination and Racism on a family and child unacceptable.I can’t believe how unwelcome I was made to feel in Del Ray, Alexandria, Virginia. We stopped at the 7-11 on Mt Vernon Ave to get something to drink and before we walked in I stepped out to the sidewalk to see what other stores were down the street. The 7-11 worker told me I couldn’t park there and even though I explained that I was going to buy something she still insisted that couldn’t park there. She then refused to serve me when I complained to her about her treatment. The manager was also there and he refused to talk to me. Justin Wilson 7-11 Seven Eleven
