We were traveling with our newborn son in a stroller and the driver of route 35 drove us several stops, after which he demanded that we get off the bus, otherwise it would stop and go nowhere further. It's outrageous! We found ourselves in the middle of an unfamiliar place before reaching our destination. We did not interfere with anyone on the bus and took seats so that the stroller with the child would not interfere with walking past us. We use DASH buses every day and the drivers are always so friendly, but not this time. Now we are standing in the middle of the street and do not know what to do. Such persons should not work with services for people.

I waited on AT3 towards braddock Rd. And the stupid bus never came. I guess metro bus wins because they came and saved the day. Good thing I didn't miss work.

I will start by saying that I have been using DASH buses for about a full year now before actually leaving a review. 99.9% of the time the buses have been on-time or if not, the dash tracker app works great in knowing exactly where the bus is and when it is coming. September 5th, they changed several routes, changed the route numbers, and went to free fares. Over the last several days there has been a DASH bus rep at the Van Dorn metro station everyday to explain the new routes, new numbers and new changes. I am looking forward to some of the route changes, as that means my normal bus in the evening will actually come at a more suitable time for me and my morning bus won't have such a long time to wait if I miss one due to a metro delay. Big huge thumbs up for all the new changes and assistance with said new changes.

The Dash busses that park at the Potomac Yards center are HORRIBLE. One of them was parked and blocking the handicap ramp to get on/off the curb. A person in a wheel chair asked if the driver could move it to which the driver replied "no there is another ramp down the block go use that one". How dare he! First of all how is someone going to make someone in a wheel chair not able to use something that is there for them. Second of all how can you treat someone that way!! My co workers and I have complained that they have blocked the ramp before and I guess the company just doesn't care! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY!

I've used the service for over a month now. The drivers go beyond their requirements to take care of their clients. The patience and compassion they express through their actions means so much. Thank you!

I left my bag on bus A10 (route Potomac Yard to King Station). I contacted a customer service representative by phone who was very helpful. She told me the bus number (230) and when I could meet it.Then, at King Station, Omar (from DASH) saw me trying to figure out where to meet the bus. He was quick to direct me to the supervisor named Melvin. Melvin was able to help me meet the bus and get the bag very quickly.Thank you to all of these lovely people and also the bus driver.

You people are GARBAGE. Your stupid bus drivers can’t see when people are waiting for the bus and just drive off.

Too much variation in arrival times. Often as much as 6-7 minutes late, but then sometimes as much as 2-3 minutes early (thus resulting in missed buses, i.e., 1 minute costs you 20).

I have to second the 2014 review regarding their charter service. Why have information out there but then not follow up on potential business? We technically live in Alexandria-Fairfax County but take the DASH AT7 on Eisenhower Ave to work every day. We sent in the PDF request and still had to follow up via email and phone calls. It was after chasing a bit we were then told they don't do trips outside Alexandria City (useful information to list on the website). Also, apparently they had a bad experience with a job in Maryland (!) and now insist on Alexandria-City only trips because otherwise the drivers get lost. Hello, Alexandria-Fairfax County 4 miles outside your jurisdiction is not Maryland but whatever. I don't have another option for my commute but they really should remove the charter option from their website if it's not really going to be an option.

Usually on point until today. 6:04pm at Van Dorn (next AT8 6:06) no show or left early. 6:24 AT8 rolls in (scheduled to leave 6:26) nope. 30 degrees outside, driver decides to take a leisurely cigarette/cell phone break until 6:31 leaving us all who have been standing outside for 25+ minutes for a few more minutes past departure time. Get it together Dash!
