I was in the market for a long time for a used Mazda but then I've heard Mazda has great CX-5 deals. I stopped by Safford Mazda. The salesperson Mr.Moe answered all questions I had and helped me with finding the right CX-5. He was also very kind and welcoming.

What a great bunch of people and staff. We were recently in the market for a larger vehicle. We had owned Mazda's before but hadn't given much though. When looking around, most dealerships either didn't have any vehicles on their lots or there was the "standard" market adjustment.We were very please to find out that not only did Safford Brown have vehicles on the lot but there were no market adjustments! Anthony came right out and met us and was very accommodating from the start. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.Chad came over and introduced himself and was very nice and helpful. Yayha was great too. He didn't push any addons and actually saved us a couple hundred in monthly payments.Anthony walked us around the dealership and explained the service department and had our car ready and waiting in no time.Overall, great experience and I'll probably be taking my other family members here for their cars!

The sales team at Safford Brown is great! After having my 2024 CX-5 CE delayed in delivery, Chad the manager was able to find one at a nearby dealership and get it delivered same day, for pickup the next. Alex the salesman and Yahya in finance were great and personable and gave me a easy experience. Highly recommend!

Our experience was primarily shaped by our interactions with our salesman, Moe. From the moment that we arrived until our last interaction, he showed a high level of professionalism. This made us feel comfortable and welcomed as customers, and ultimately influenced our purchasing decision. We appreciated his willingness to work with us in every step of the process in a very engaging way. We are very happy with our new car and the opportunity to have worked with Moe.

Customer Service is almost nonexistent. They will NEVER return calls or text messages. You have to check in very early if you want an appointment. I am considering transferring my account to another Mazda dealership in the area.

I was recently in the market for a new car after having issues with my previously owned BMW. I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for but the great service I was given at this dealership made my decision quick and easy. I ended up landing on a Mazda 3 Hatchback with the help of my amazing salesperson Alex who walked me through everything. The process went smoothly and along with Alex, Chad (the general sales manager) and Yahya (who guided me through financing) made this a great experience. I highly recommend.

I went there to check out the cars, the sales associate that helped me was Anthony Canales. When he first approached me he did it very friendly and that me comfortable, he showed me around and he seemed very well educated on the cars that he was showing me, all that while being friendly and courteous. Although I didn't buy a car today, I'll make sure to come back to them if I want a car in the future.

I had purchased my car here at the beginning of the year and the overall experience has been perfect! The other day I had gotten a flat tire and had to put my spare on to make it back for some help and thankfully Alex was here to save the day. He was my sales person and had gotten me in and out in no time to make sure I made it to work on time. Thanks Alex! You're the best!

Purchasing my first car from this dealership was such a great experience. The salesperson who helped me, Alex, was extremely considerate and went above and beyond to walk me through the process from start to finish. One of the managers, Tori, was also very nice and the dynamic in the dealership was great to be around.

I bought my Mazda 3 back in early 2021. Despite telling them I did not want any add on’s multiple times, the finance department somehow fit in a $1200 tire and oil change warranty. I was really mad when I found out, but there was nothing I could do after the fact. I’m now getting my second flat tire fixed and the third party warranty isn’t even covering the whole cost of the tire. All to say, I feel like they slipped something into my contract at the end of the process in a super sly way that I do not at all appreciate and having that warranty. It’s the stereotype of a car dealership being super friendly then lowering your guard to slip something in. I’ve loved my Mazda, but please be aware that they will try this.

This is the second and last time I will be going to this Safford Brown Mazda in Alexandria, VA. My appointment was for 10:30am, my car was not seen until about 11am, and I did not leave until 12:45pm. Before moving to VA, I used to take my 2019 CX-5 to be serviced at a Mazda in Florida and I would be in and out in less than one hour. Both times it has taken a minimum of 2 hours for my car to be serviced at this location.Aside from an oil change, I requested for my screen to be checked because it had been glitching and the touch screen wasn’t working. I purchased my CX-5 brand new Sept 2019 with only 17 miles. A few months later, late 2019/early 2020, I had to have the screen replaced. At the time it was no problem because it was still under warranty. It has been 3 years since it was replaced and I am now having the same issues again. The employee stated it would be almost $500 to replace and tried to justify it by telling me the same thing happened to his Mazda. I have since done some research and come to find out it is reoccurring problem for Mazdas. I am now considering selling it and buying a new vehicle (not a Mazda) since it isn’t covered and it appears to be a consistent problem that I do not want to deal with again.I was also quoted about $91.00 for ONLY an oil change. When I presented a coupon to the employee, he hesitated said he couldn’t take it (it was not expired) then changed his mind and said he would consult his “manager”. He came back out and “knocked” the price down to about $70.00. I’ve paid much less for an oil change at Mazda dealerships. I don’t know what’s going on at this one, but I do not trust the employees at this location.
