My partner went inside to cash his check and they treated as if they have never seen a African American male trying to cash a check , he gave identification upon arriving to the teller , teller then ask for a second identification he gives them the identification then teller proceeds to call place or business for verification of the check , online it states He only has to show one proof of identification!!! This place doesn't make you feel welcomed and I can honestly say I felt like it was total Discrimination!!!!

I have been with Burke & Herbert for 20 years and I have to say, I've grown more and more dissatisfied with their service. I joined them only because some friends of mine who are locals, have been with them forever and seem to think B&H hung the moon. I have had more issues with * debit cards and debit card fraud issues * delayed real time turnover of checks * the ability to open a new account I used to have accounts with CapitalOne and they seemed more user friendly. You can open a new sub account easily from home on their app or online. Not so with Burke & Herbert. I am considering a change of bank because of all this. It is unfortunate that the new manager, Matthew, at the Manassas Location is unprofessional and emotionally challenged. I have banked with Burke & Herbert for over ten years...I will take my business elsewhere.

Good service! Online services work fine but if you do t use the account online for extended periods of time you might need to reactivate.. great customer service at all times!

I came to the Burke & Herbert on Fern St with a few banking issues and questions. As soon as I walked in i was greeted with a smile from Rubel Barua. He gave me all the information I needed to fix my banking issues and was very professional. Im very pleased with the customer service. Rubel Barua made me feel very confident in banking with Burke & Herbert. I will be coming back again.

Family owned for at least 150 years. Employees all know their customers and the service is personalized and so helpful. This is the perfect alternative to all these large, impersonal banks headquartered elsewhere. This is the best bank with the best service, the best employees, and locally owned and managed by the Burke family. It doesn’t get any better than that; especially in these difficult time when we all want to support our local businesses.

I thought it was a good idea to use a local bank. Perhaps it still is, but I'm not sure how to confirm that. The online service are HORRIBLE. I was locked out of my account on a Sunday. There was no way to resolve this issue until business hours on Monday. When I went to the branch, I had to wait 10 minutes for the bank staff to reach someone to reset my account. So in all, I likely wasted 30 minutes to get access to my own account. Guess what? Closing my account soon.

Great bank. They pay fees of non Burke & Herbert Bank ATM's. The employees are personable and very polite too. This bank is way better than Wells Fargo.
