“Went there to participate in the Rise Against Hunger project. Together, the group of volunteers portioned out, sealed, and boxed 10,000 meals. Wonderful mix of community with church members and area Girl Scouts. I felt good knowing my daughter and I gave something back that is desperately needed. This time made me realize there still are decent and big hearted people in the area.”

He was there to preach for his great friend, Fraternity Brother, Pastor Chris Leevy for his 50th birthday. After that sermon I have logged in and worship with Alfred Street Baptist. I live in Charlotte and when he announced they were bringing the Alfred Street experience to Charlotte I knew I had to attend in person. And it definitely lived up to what I expected it to be and more! From the greeters, to the praise and worship and the message is truly a move of God!
