“Went there to participate in the Rise Against Hunger project. Together, the group of volunteers portioned out, sealed, and boxed 10,000 meals. Wonderful mix of community with church members and area Girl Scouts. I felt good knowing my daughter and I gave something back that is desperately needed. This time made me realize there still are decent and big hearted people in the area.”

“Friendly congregation with a warm atmosphere! Pastor Johnson has a heart for people, and preaches Jesus Christ to save souls. He and the First Lady are caring and approachable. They're appreciated, respected, and loved.?”

“I love my Church; the Staff; and all the members of CRBC. I have been a member of the Church since 1989. I have grown in my relationship with Christ; I’m a better person, father, grandfather and neighbor. I look forward to attending Services on Wednesday and Sunday of each week and other activities. CRBC is my church home and family. Give it a try and allow God to draw you closer in your daily walk.”

“I remember as a child how the Salvation Army helped veterans with job training and helped those with housing insecurities find shelter. As a social worker, I have had great experiences reaching out to the Salvation Army for assistance with my clients. The people that work and volunteer for this organization really care!”

“I heard the Rev Dr. Howard-John Wesley for the first time in July at Brooklyn Baptist, in Columbia SC. He was there to preach for his great friend, Fraternity Brother, Pastor Chris Leevy for his 50th birthday. After that sermon I have logged in and worship with Alfred Street Baptist. I live in Charlotte and when he announced they were bringing the Alfred Street experience to Charlotte I knew I had to attend in person. And it definitely lived up to what I expected it to be and more! From the greeters, to the praise and worship and the message is truly a move of God! Thank you so much for bringing this experience to Charlotte!”
