I got a VA inspection done for my electric vehicle today. I came in without an appointment, and the inspection was done quickly and cheaply :) Azeem did the inspection and he was both informative and courteous.

Came in for a state inspection, in and out in 15 min! They also reminded me of my registration expiring in a few months, as well as no need for emissions since it's a new car!

I needed to do a last minute emissions check for my SUV and the team at Citgo Mt Vernon completely it swiftly. Not a long wait. Passed inspection. The team is super professional. I recommend Mt. Vernon area residents to go to them for this and other services!

The shop here at this gas station is great! I get my state inspections here and the tech Azeem is so knowledgeable. And he gets the job done quicker than most I’ve seen. They also do standard maintenance at this shop I wouldn’t mind taking my car there again!

They charge a fixed price to fill a tank regardless of how much propane you buy. They failed to purge the tank, so I got to pay for compressed air as well. I will never come here again.

Update 2025! So this has been my 4th time coming here and NEVER once had any issues. This time was no different. I had to get a couple things done on the car to pass inspection and they took care of it at a surprisingly affordable price. All 4 times have been met with friendly courteous employees. I just wanted to show appreciation as many people only review if they had a bad experience.
Been here a few times for state inspections and gas never had an issue. The employees were always pleasant. In fact, when I first moved to the area I called and asked if they run by appointment they said no, but the person doing the inspections wasn't in. And they called me back 30 minutes later to let me know the person was back if I wanted to bring my car in for the inspection.
