Theyre shady as hell. Dont make good on their promos of lending rates and just not a good option. Closed my account this week after 12 years going back to when I was a teenager. Try Apple FCU instead!

Don’t go if you are in a hurry or expect things to progress in a normal flow. The staff will stand around talking to each other while the line grows and grows.

I refinanced my auto loans (two within weeks of each other) due to them having the most competitive rates at the time. The initial refinance process was very antiquated, but I figured since I only had to do that part once it was worth the struggle to save money. Their technology is extremely lacking and if I had it to do over again I would have taken the next lowest rate from a better rated institution. It is ridiculously difficult to set up auto payments, update insurance information, or anything else that should be seemingly easy in 2023. Customer service since day one has been extremely lacking. I do not recommend going with them for loans of any sort.

This credit union has really tanked. Hardly any tellers at the window, slow system and antiquated ATM machine that doesn't allow you to make cash deposits.

I make several transactions using COFCU. Now the merchant hasn't received my payment and COFCU can't tell me where my money is. It's definitely been removed from my available balance, so I guess it's in limbo. This account probably won't be open much longer.

You guys really need to work on your customer service. I never received any papers in the mail regarding my loan on how to pay it but several time have been asked by Tawanna Epps for my card information over the phone to pay the bill. After refusing she caught an attitude. If someone is not comfortable with providing that information over the phone stop asking!! The attitude is uncalled for in customer service.

Banked with COFCU since 2016 and I closed my account last month due to service. The service is not the same and the bank fails to communicate announcements with its customers. The final straw occured when I was told that I could pick up a new card at the main branch over the phone. Drove 1 hour to the closet branch only to find out that the card printing service was down after waiting 15 business days for a new card.

I have several loans with Commonwealth and even bought my first house through them but I have to say I'm very very disappointed in how things was handled in trying to buy my second house , communication was terrible, had to send several documents multiple times , then give me a closing date and right before the date pull the rug out from underneath you , now they don't want to even talk to you about nothing , really terrible business and thinking about moving all my stuff away .

Problem on top of problem paying bills digitally. Have ALWAYS had to take my payment into a branch due to app and digital access for bill payment not being available. Bill statements aren’t sent- some staff tell you one thing and others tell you something different. I witnessed the bank getting served. That was a sign right there. Not a good banking experience at this bank for me…

Service and capabilities have consistently went down hill. I have been a customer since 2011 and they used to have amazing service and offerings but that is gone now.Maybe pandemic work shortage related? Really a shame.

I got a car loan with them 4 years ago. I moved to Maryland two years ago. I have never been able to register my car in MD because after several phone calls with them telling me its resolved, I still couldn't get a copy of my title. I decided to pay off the loan early so I could finally register my car, and now after another three phone calls I still dont have my title. Last call the person told me I have to contact the DMV. This is literally the first person to tell me I have to contact the dmv, everyone else told me it would be mailed to me. Now I went to the DMV website and they don't show that I own my car, so I cant request the title. What really abysmal customer service.

This bank will have your back like family. They have improved their app and you can withdraw at any 7-11 for free. Always there for me in time of need and service is unmatched.
