We have purchased a fair amount of furniture from Creative Classics over the years, and have appreciated the design consulting from Danielle and others. Lately, it was Ann who went out of her way to help us. (Thank you, Ann!) This store is rich in options for small spaces and the staff is both knowledgable and personable -- a gem on King Street.

We spent over 11k on a bedroom set and we have to beg for updates on its delivery ? We we were told some of it is eligible for fast ship but I can’t seem to get an answer as to when. It has been 9 weeks since we ordered it. ?♀️You would think for that amount of money and time that has passed someone would reach out to me!UPDATE: below the owner said we wanted all the items shipped together, that is not true! One of the items that was eligible for quick ship was the dresser and we really need it.

We are so happy we chose a local furniture store to support when buying our new sectional! We were planning on a West Elm couch for style but it was so uncomfortable that we second guessed the purchase and when we walked by Creative Classics we figured we'd have a look. The sales team at Creative Classics were really easy to work with and we did not feel pushed into purchasing anything. We went with a sectional by American Leather and it is much higher quality than the other sectionals we had been looking at. The delivery process was great. The owner's son and another worker delivered and set up the couch and did a nice job. This is a sectional we will have for years and years. Would highly recommend.

After searching online for an affordable American Leather sofabed, I checked the clearance page on CC's site and there it was - a queen Comfort Sleeper in the exact model I wanted and in pristine condition!Scotty and his apprentice Johnathan delivered it with great care, fitting it in the tight space I've alotted for a guest sleeper.Although this is an as-is item, it's in top shape and I'm sure CC will address any issues I might encounter. And the price - while still pretty high - was worth it to me.Couldn't be more pleased.

I am very pleased with the products and service from Creative Classics. Everything from design services to delivery was handled with a level of care that is rare these days. The Henley loveseat with custom upholstery was perfect four our needs, clean style, comfortable high quality cushions, and fun colors.

This is the 3rd time we chose Creative Classics Furniture to order furniture for our new home in DE. As always they held our furniture in their warehouse until we closed on our home (10 months later) delivered everything in perfect condition, set it up with a smile. Thank you staff you earned 5 stars from this household.

My husband and I came upon CC as we walked downtown Alexandria. Beautiful shop with lots of upscale furnishings. Fell into conversation with the owner - DELIGHTFUL - who happened to be there that day and decided we'd be back to purchase.I like the fact that the store is local. You don't get that much anymore. I also like the fact that they provide free design service with orders over a certain amount. Many places do that, but it's still a nice perk. The designer is the daughter in law of the owner. I thought she was lovely. I also appreciated the time she put into our design plan. Honestly, though, we didn't care for the design plan for various reasons. That said, that's a matter of preference, right? You may be extraordinarily pleased. :)Because we weren't a fan of the overall design but wanted to purchase something from the store in recognition of the design time spent and the lovely woman, we decided to purchase a set of 4 kitchen chairs in solid cherry. I have solid wood pieces at home that are quite expensive. I thought I knew enough about wood to understand what was being delilvered. Apparently, I did not. Three chairs came looking like a set. The fourth looked like it was a mistake. I had a woodworker comment that he thought the wrong process had been done on the wood.I called the company and sent a video explaining my issue. The customer service representative said he took the matter to his superiors and THEY AGREED that the chair should've never been sent.I won't go into all the details. Let's just say that I had to go back and forth with customer service a lot. Let's say I had to stay on top of customer service and I found it an uncomfortable experience. The gent in charge - to be fair, new in his position - brings up politics A LOT and just doesn't seem to understand what is and is not appropriate when dealing with a customer. In fact, once he told me he didn't contact me because he didn't know how to tell me bad news. I told him he better need to learn how to give a customer bad news - lol - if he was going to remain in customer experience.I think the gent is a nice guy. I also understand he's new. I would normally rate the customer service experience a zero - yep, I don't do politics or uncomfortable situations as a rule in business - but I'll give him a 2 and hope he continues to learn. As it is, I wouldn't buy again from the company knowing he'd be who I'd be dealing with. Understand I now have a subpar experience and history with him. I'm pretty sure he'll learn before you buy. Also, recognize my experience may just be a personality conflict and may not be your experience!! :)Moving on. The new chair was delivered by the owner's son and, well, it looked like the chair I was returning. LOL. I told him to take it back. He told me there was nothing wrong with the chair. I tried to explain that I'd had SEVERAL exchanges with the customer service rep and had been told that there WAS in fact something wrong with the chair. Mind you, these chairs were about $500 a piece. :)This went back and forth and I was told that "the customer is always right" and that's why no one had told me I was wrong. I lost it and became angry. You don't tell a customer they're right for months and then tell them they're wrong upon delivery when they're expectations have already been set. WHEN was someone going to educate me? That's NOT okay to show up and tell me I'm wrong AFTER you've agreed with me for MONTHS.The son explained that I was educated when I bought the pieces. Maybe. I don't remember that and, well, that's a problem. See, I have a doctor's appt next week for an exam and remember in detail the details they told me weeks ago. I had carpet expert explain the pros and cons of repairing vs replacing carpet almost a year ago and can tell you what he said almost verbatim. Same with the drycleaner who explained their service, the chef who explained the

I went to Creative Classics in a hurry… I am moving to a remote area in Alaska and the movers were coming on Monday. This was Saturday. In getting ready for this big move I had not been able to purchase dining room chairs that we were desperately in need of after years of using donated furniture.I walked in, looked around a little bit, and was then asked if I needed any help. I told the gentleman I was looking for sturdy, Amish made, dining room chairs but I needed them this weekend. He said, maybe Monday: let’s look at our delivery schedule and our inventory to see what we have available. So we did. They did have delivery time on Monday, but my moving company was coming on Monday morning. I kept looking but secretly wasn’t sure Monday would work for me.He introduced himself as Steve, the owner - along with his wife, who was also working in the store that day and helping other clients. Steve brought me over to 2 different styles of dining room chairs and had me sit in them. One was so comfortable for me. I loved it. We went back to the computer to see when we could get these delivered. This is where it goes from good customer service to AMAZING!!! Steve calls his son, who also works in the business, and they arrange for his son to meet me at their warehouse right then. Even though the warehouse is closed on Saturday and it was his son’s day off they knew I was moving and completely went out of their way to help me.I paid and met his son at the warehouse 30 minutes later. He had pulled out all the chairs from their boxes, urged me to inspect each one, and then repacked them so I could have them moved to Alaska.I was headed to Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel next. Creative Classics prices were comparable and they are a small, family owned business, selling Amish made - not factory made - furniture. I am soooo happy with this purchase. I’m moving but I hope this review will bring other people to the store. Creative Classics will be my first choice when we come back to the area. Thanks for your help Steve and Steve Jr.

My husband and I visited Creative Classics during our intensive search for an elegant living room sofa that could double as a really comfortable bed for guests in our townhome. After extensive trips to Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware, these owners blew us away with their customer service. They really listened to what we were looking for, talked through a bunch of options, and very patiently calculated the precise cost of all the different configurations and options we were considering. In the end, we decided that what we really wanted was beyond our means at this point, so we ended up postponing our plans to upgrade our living room furniture. But as relatively new residents in the area, we are really grateful to know about Creative Classics and will definitely be back. It's just so great to be treated that well, and to know you have real people who will take care of you if an issue comes up with your purchase - rather than the impersonal treatment you get at a chain store, not to mention the pressure to get their 0% down credit cards, etc. Thank you Creative Classics!

We had a great experience ordering our couch from Creative Classics. The sales associates were very helpful, but not pushy. There was a long lead time on the couch from the manufacturer but when it finally arrived, it was worth the wait. The delivery crew was professional and friendly. I signed off on the couch and realized shortly after that there was a fabric snag on the arm and an imperfection on the leg. When I contacted Creative Classics, they responded immediately and contacted the manufacturer to look into options. The manufacturer wanted to repair the upholstery and leg, which would have required us to surrender the couch. CC offered a couch to borrow during this time, which they would deliver. After more discussion, we really did not feel like going through such a process, during pre-vaccination Covid, for such small imperfections. I suggested a small monetary compensation to account for the damage and CC issued us a check, for what we felt was fair. The customer service is top notch and would never be found at larger, big name stores. They came through even when the issue was with the manufacturer, not their company. We will absolutely return to Creative Classics when we need quality furniture in the future.

I really had an outstanding experience with Creative Classics Furniture. Everyone was outstanding from working with Melissa to selecting my item to Ann on providing regularly the status of my order (Due to COVID-19 delays) and Dan making sure everything was on route and timely. I am very happy with the final product. This is my second time ordering from Creative Classics. I worked with Creative Classics over 10 years ago when I ordered our first bed when we first purchased our home. Creative Classics still has wonderful customer service even during the current environment with COVID-19 and the demand for furniture and home products being high. I am so happy I decided to reorder another bed tufted headboard and frame from them again. I highly recommended them to my neighbors and friends and will continue to do so. Such an amazing furniture shopping experience.

My husband and I bought a sofa from Creative Classics about 2.5 years ago, and the staff took great care of us during the purchasing process. We got to take fabric samples home, staff made recommendations on caring for fabric, and they helped us find a sofa that was uniquely suited for what we wanted. It felt like a custom experience but the price was very reasonable. At this point, the sofa has held up extremely well with pretty heavy daily use, and I wouldn't hesitate to go to Creative Classics for additional furniture pieces for my small space.

I was adamant that I wanted to support local crafters and was referred to Creative Classics by a friend when in search of a new dining room table. I found the one I wanted through Copeland, and ordered it via email with Creative Classics. In my email (and pandemic haze) I failed to specifically mention a glass top table. When the table showed up it was of course solid wood. I signed off on the order sheet etc so really the blame is on me. Creative classics was so kind to not only order me the correct table, but to allow me to use the one that was incorrect until it would arrive. They refunded the price difference, and also my delivery fee! Simply amazing for something that was really *MY* fault. I absolutely will be ordering from them again. Thinking maybe a new bedroom set next. Bottom line, don't hesitate to support this small business who in turns supports other small businesses with products that are made in the USA.
