Shopping at this CVS was an enjoyable experience. It's spacious with all the usual CVS goods well stocked on the shelves. The self-check out line flowed smoothly and I even got $10 off at the end. The staff were very friendly and helpful!

If Your looking for the best CVS pharmacy in town , go to the one on King St in Old Town Alexandria, Va .\\n\\nMariam and Rebecca the pharmacists are the nicest , most genuine folks around . They may be busy but always have time to help You , and answer any questions or concerns . I’ve been to many CVS in the DMV area but none compare to this one .

Went in to pick up a prescription. It wasn't in the system. They worked with me to get it in and filled. Big thanks to the pharmacist!!!

It's a CVS -- what do you expect? They're usually well-stocked, so you can typically find what you need. Unfortunately, the self-checkout machines often malfunction, meaning it can take more time to check out than actually shop. Luckily, employees are usually quite helpful, but it's clear the store is understaffed. (Here's a thought: CVS can fix this if they actually pay their workers fair wages!)

Just not a great place to shop. Old town is typically a pleasant and safe place. But not CVS pharmacy. For some reason there is more often than not what appear to be a group homeless gentlemen posted directly outside. After walking in, we were immediately followed in by a man who aggressively stated: "Buy me a Beer." After refusing a few times we found an employee who distracted him until we could leave. Good on the employee, but management needs to figure this out before we will ever be shopping here again. DO NOT GO FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY

Terrible customer service! A cashier Vida was outrageously reasonable de, accusing me of skipping scanning of my purchase while she wasn't even looking! So sad that Old Town is turning into an aggressive place.

Horrible pharmacy! Bad customer service and extremely expensive compared to other pharmacies. They charged me $78 for the same medication I could have got at Safeway pharmacy for $19. Don't make the same mistake I did and always check GoodRX first! In addition, they did not have one of the medication that was called in, so instead of ordering it, they transferred the prescription to another CVS. They claimed they called to inform me but I never received a call.

Ridiculously stupid girl who waited on me at the pharmacy counter. I told her I was there to pick up my prescription, and she told me to go to the "drop off" counter. When I did that, a woman who had previously checked in for a flu shot literally butted in front me and said "I don't want to lose my place in line". The girl who sent me to that counter immediately began to process her request as though I was not there. I was about to speak up about the woman cutting in front of me, when I saw another associate at the "pick up" counter. I went over there and that person assisted me. Annoying, rude and ignorant people.

This is a fairly standard CVS located in the heart of Old Town. Staff is friendly and the store is usually clean and well organized. They frequently have an employee by the front door managing the check out machines and greeting entering guests to see if they need help. They have a small selection of fresh fruit, premade sandwiches and healthier snacks at the front, which is a nice option. They heavily use automated check out machines here but only one accepts cash. Overall, no complaints on this store except that the selection is a bit limited, but that is a function of the location and size of the store

Pretty standard CVS, located in the heart of Old Alexandria. Good for last-minute items such as sunscreen or a bottle of Gatorade. Staff seems more helpful since the self-checkout machines were installed.
