Great Beginnings Learning Center has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. In just four months, she has learned so much and grown in both confidence and skills. The environment is safe, welcoming, and perfect for young children. The director and teachers are experienced, kind, and truly care about the kids. I highly recommend this center to any parent looking for quality early childhood education.

I called asking if they had space available and the lady who answered could not give me a straight up answer. She was had a very smart mouth. So this is a No for me Don’t waste your time

Great Beginnings is absolutely FABULOUS! Our daughter, as well as Mom and Dad, loves her teachers, staff and friends! We highly recommend this early learning center!!!

Choosing Great Beginnings for our daughter has been the best decision our family could’ve ever made. From day one, the care and attention she has received have been exceptional. Mrs. Aldis has been absolutely wonderful, and all of her teachers are so attentive and nurturing. Thanks to their dedication, our daughter has reached her developmental milestones on time or even earlier. She has developed a love for reading and books because of their teaching. We couldn’t be happier with the progress she has made. Great Beginnings truly lives up to its name, and we are so grateful for the loving environment they provide. Highly recommend!

This daycare was the best thing that could have happened to us! Black owned, Christian daycare that truly takes care of the kids! Ms. Aldis, the director, is amazing! Very sweet and kind and tends to all of my daughter’s needs. If you are in the Alexandria area I highly recommend this daycare for your child! My daughter has been there 5 months (13 months old now) and the progress she has made has been astounding! You will not be disappointed!

My daughter has been attending Great Beginnings since she was four months. She is now 20 months and we could not be happier with our choice for daycare. Ms. Aldis and her team are dedicated to ensuring a safe and fun environment for the kids to develop. Staff are easy to communicate with and they provide updates on the kids throughout the day. I am at ease knowing my daughter is in an environment where all those involved in her care are loving and considerate. We are so grateful to be a Great Beginnings Family.

The school provides excellent learning opportunities for early learners. My daughter has developed great social and academic skills that will enable her to grow as a scholar. The director is one of the best individuals that you would ever encounter in this lifetime. She takes great care of our children and her staff. I highly recommend this school!

Great Beginning is a great place for children to get a head start on building early learning skills that will allow them to thrive. The staff at Great Beginning are very friendly and loving. I feel confident with my Kids in their care.

When I had my first child back in 2020, I was very reluctant to take my daughter to daycare because of the negative stigmas about daycares and the horror stories you hear in the media. My daughter had a speech delay and I was concerned about her not being able to communicate with me if something was wrong. It was time for me to go back to work so I decided to step out on faith and inquire about this establishment. The staff answered all of my questions and there empathy has been unmatched! After going to the center for a couple of weeks, I noticed a huge difference in my daughter's speech and development. She was able to pronunciate her words alot better and start to express her needs. Fast forward a year later, my son attends the center and HE LOVES IT TO!
Great Begginings Early Learning Center is more than just a daycare! They care for the parents as well by teaching parents how to tackle some of the challenging stages of development, i.e. tantrums, potty training etc. This center has played an active role in advancing my children's education and I am very grateful! Thank you for all that you do!

Wow I really love this place teachers, they are like family with my kids, my kids they love the teachers and the place specifically missAldis she is the best teacher ever I am comfortable to give them my boys I wanted to say thank you for the whole team. They deserve more than five stars. and I recommend this place For kids.

We have been bringing our little one since September and it has been a great improvement with our daughter's social skills.
The communication is great with Ms. Aldis and we love Ms. Tamika and a few others that (apologies, we forgot the names) that takes care of our daughter in her class.
They also send us photos and updates through out the day which we appreciate.
The only "cons" is that the main door keeps getting stuck and after 4pm, you will need to find parking elsewhere than the dropoff/pick up lane but, these are just minor things.

My son has been at Great beginnings since he was 4months he will be 1 on April 22. I’m so pleased with the center the staff is so welcoming and heartwarming! My son is so happy when I’m dropping him off, and when I pick him up he’s rarely crying. I love this center and highly recommend to any family looking for a center to feel like home

We have had such a wonderful experience at Great Beginnings! Our daughter is almost a year old, and has been at Great Beginning since she was five months old. She is excited every morning when we drop her off with Miss Aldis. We love the pictures and updates we receive throughout the day, and are thrilled that she is receiving such a warm, loving, social experience everyday. Everyone in the Lambs Room has made us feel safe and always kept us informed with how our daughter is doing. Miss Nancy and all the other caregivers in the Lambs Room have such patience and love for what they do. We are so thankful to be a part of this community and look forward to watching our daughter grow and thrive over the years.
