Highly unprofessional experience. The barber complained about my hair being “too long,” which felt unnecessary and rude. Throughout the haircut, they kept talking in their native language with coworkers instead of focusing on the service, which made me feel uncomfortable and ignored. Overall, very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place.

Stylist put my hair in a bun then snipped it? I'm sure this place is fine for buzz cuts, but hair cuts are not recommended; you get what you pay for

A most gracious experience! I am going through chemo for breast cancer. My hair was falling out. Due to my condition, this wonderful establishment shaved my head for free. As I cried in the chair, the woman shaving my head was so very kind and sweet. Thank you all so much!! You made a very awkward & vulnerable situation safe for me.

I recently visited Great Clips for a haircut, and unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. Despite showing a picture of the style I wanted, the stylist seemed to misunderstand entirely, resulting in a haircut that bore no resemblance to what I asked for.
Not only did they fail to execute the style properly, but they also seemed indifferent to my dissatisfaction. To add insult to injury, the stylist had the audacity to ask for a tip after delivering such a poor job. Needless to say, I won't be returning to Great Clips anytime soon, and I certainly won't be recommending it to anyone looking for a reliable haircut. Save your time and money, folks.

I went in for a simple 1-2" trim, and instead of following the shape of my hair, the stylist chopped a chunk out of the front. When I asked her to at least try to blend it, she said the shape was because my hair "grows incorrectly." The shape was perfectly normal when I came into the salon. She butchered it. The stylist didn't take accountability for the mistake, and the only other stylist in the salon also claimed this was "fine" when I asked for it to be fixed. Leaving the salon with such a heinous haircut and being gaslit by the employees to say it's "fine" is unacceptable. Please don't trust Great Clips in Alexandria with even a simple trim.If you or a loved one has been personally butchered by Great Clips in Alexandria, I highly recommend getting it fixed by Ruby Devine at The LABoratory in Alexandria (see my review there for the after photo).

Not Satisfied with Haircuts. I had very inexperienced hair stylist. For better understanding I showed pictures he didn't even bother to look at it properly. Better to go somewhere else than to be in stress .

The stylists are nice, but not one of them seems to understand what I mean when I say "no fade, no transition, no blend." I want a stark contrast between the clippers on the side and the finger trim on top, but they refuse to listen.

Jackie really is quite the artist. I give her a lump of clay and she consistently sculpts it into something comprehensible, practical AND attractive! Not an easy task but she does it every time and with a smile.Thanks, Jackie, for taking care of this beach bum! haha
