I bought a 2drawer filing cabinet from this store and 4 or 5 other items. The filing cabinet was the most important thing of the purchase. Brought it home and moved it into my office room, the cabinet, collapsed into about 5 pieces. Upon considering a rebuild of the item I soon learned that there was only maybe 1 dow rod pin per every 7 holes on the unit. I needed this item to function and I feel the $45.00 should have at least got me more than this. I feel robbed and lied to, the reps there said it was in great condition.Really!! How can you help me to make this right?

As others have said, this is an insanely overpriced Habitat for Humanity. I actively looked up some of this stuff in store to find you could buy it new for cheaper. It’s a shame to see stores like this take advantage of people

Prices are bit all over the place. Some items are same as retail or regular shop. I’ll recommend visiting other restore shops in the area

This may be the most outrageously over-priced Habitat For Humanity Restore in the country. Items for sale here are 500-1,000% more $$$$ than 10 other Restores I’ve been to. Not worth the trip at all. Items Goodwill sells for $1-2 are $20 here, a 10-year old TV at Goodwill or Salvation Army that sells for $20-30 if $220-450 here, insane!!

The Alexandria store on Pickett Street is closed from December 23rd through January 1st, based on signs posted on their front door and their donations door.

They really like their “goods” here. The goods are priced to stay in the store. Way too pricey for well worn & damaged stuff. Shocked. Sad.

I was ready to purchase a couch a few moments ago. It was on hold for an hour for someone else who may be coming back to get it, which the guy who worked there said they may not come back, who knows? Ok, so I was willing to stand there and wait as I was very interested in purchasing this couch. The couch was listed at $400, which I took a picture of the couch and the price tag as I had a feeling he was going to up the price since so many people seemed interested in it. He sure did, as I'm standing there waiting to see if the people come back for it so I could purchase it, he raised the price to $900. Didn't even look at me, didn't say anything, nothing....just raised the price and walked away! How fkd up!!! The prices in that place are so ridiculously high now, broken and old run down furniture for high prices. They just lost my business as I will never go back there, nor will I donate my items there anymore.

Always support the cause of habitat for humanity, but noticing some pretty crazy pricing on grungy items that will likely sit in there indefinitely:/

Very often a good bargain to be found here. Prices very reasonable but the good quality stuff goes quickly so you need to visit the store 2-3 times a week to time it right. Deals to be picked up particularly if you are looking for furniture or stuff for your apt or house.

I bought a couch and had to return it immediately when it did not fit in my building's elevator. The store does not do refunds, but they do store credit which they said would be redeemable at nearby stores. After driving to the Manassas store, I was informed that the credit was not redeemable. I then returned to this store and tried to purchase some paintings with my store credit. However, I did not have the original receipt and they would therefore not process the payment because they do not have a spreadsheet that tracks store credit. They were worried that people would be fraudulently using store credit, but since they have no system to track credit, they rejected my payment. Now, I am out $160 and hours of my time with the store. As a former Habitat Restore worker myself, it is incredibly disappointing to see.

Was treated very rude AGAIN when trying to donate here, the kicker? I drove 40 min out of my way in traffic to donate here, passing a bunch of goodwills and a salvation army and a few more places to donate. We're done here. Super rude employees.
