Chigger bites and a lot of dead plants.I was looking to replace some annuals that had died off. Their annual selection was pretty picked over (which I expected) but most of what was left was either dead or past it's season. I also ended up getting bitten by chiggers (first time I ever had to deal with them). The only highlight was the pretty Mandeville I got 50% off

We shopped here for the first time just a bit ago and loved it!Great selection on flowers, plants & all types of gardening accessories. It’s truly a one stop shop. A huge plus for us is that it is also dog friendly. Our girl loved smelling the flowers and everyone was so nice. We will be back!

I love this garden center. They have excellent service and advice without the killer prices of places like Merrifield. I don’t feel intimidated asking questions or browsing. Other garden centers seem to have a chip on their shoulder.I’m looking forward to this growing season!

Nice selection of greens & decorative items. I bought a lovely swag & added Holly & berries to it. Looks great on the front door. I usually display a wreath but wanted something different this year. The green house is loaded with flowers & plants.

Bought a beautiful large leaf, mature monsters for $25. The shop is under new management and worth checking out if you haven't in the past 6 months to a year. The Garden Plot (new company and management) is great.

The Garden Plot has been my go-to place for plants and garden supplies for decades. Formerly Hollywoods and Vines, the new owners have maintained the reliable excellent selection and service, particularly when I need a special garden need.

I think this store has two names; Holly, Woods and Vines and also The Garden Plot. I think the Garden Plot took over Holly, Woods, and Vines. I decided to drive out a bit to find some new plant shops and happened across this one. I think it's more of a nursery than a plant shop. The grounds are quite large and the literally have everything. I didn't see a lot of soil though but it may be in the back by the trees. We didn't go all the way down by the shrubs and trees because we weren't looking for those. They have bonsais, house plants, outdoor plants, succulents, carnivorous plants, aquatic plants, fruit trees and bushes, cacti, pest control items, beneficial nematodes, and lots more. Everything was reasonably priced and in very very good shape. I was shocked by how large some of the house plants have grown. They had a Monstera Thai Constellation, which is kind of coveted in the plant world. It was so pretty and the price reflected the amount of work and care that went into raising the plant to the size and shape that it was in. I was looking for Colocasias and some alocasias and found the Black Magics and large Elephant Ears. They had a 25% sale on all the tropical plants and had sales on almost everything. So if you're looking for something in particular, make sure you stop past here. I got two Black Magics and almost decided to get a carnivorous plant but didn't want to bust my plant budget out. So let's just say I'll be back...realllll soon.

Excellent selection of indoor plants, many rare wishlist variegated plants available. The plants here are thriving and priced much cheaper than other local nursery. I pass this gem daily on rte one, thankful it's right in my backyard in Alexandria. Had a sale on all on tropical plants this visit. Great plant nursery.

Great selection, good prices, and helpful staff! James was great to work with when we recently purchased 12 trees and had their team deliver and install. Tony and his crew were excellent with the delivery and planting - they were patient, accommodating, knowledgeable, and we couldn’t be happier with the job they did!

I used to only go to this nursery, when it was Holly Woods and Vines. This year, however, was the last time for me. My last trip there, the annuals, vegetables and herbs looked decimated. Not just a couple. The ENTIRE stock. Like they’d never been water or were nuked. Furthermore, I’ve had many issues with the plants I purchased (lavender, geraniums and marigolds). They had one bloom and now won’t bloom again. Multiple plants. One plant never bloomed. Another died after one bloom. And the geraniums turned out to be housing cabbage worms. I’ve never had problems like these ever. When I called about these issues, the person on the phone listened and put me on hold and never came back. I couldn’t get them back on the phone. So unfortunate.
