I am pleading with you all to heed the warnings of the negative reviews of this place, because I rue the day I didn’t.While initially friendly and responsive when you’re considering moving in, prepare for an agonizing struggle to reach anyone or obtain effective assistance with any issues that arise once you're a tenant. (And by the looks of some previous reviews, the ordeals don’t end once you move out—what I have to look forward to!)The process of paying rent every month quickly devolved into a recurring nightmare. Their ResidentPortal app consistently malfunctions, displaying inaccurate balances or breakdowns that do not match what the business office has on record (my ledger, for instance, inexplicably showed charges for garage use, despite my never parking a car here). Another app glitch is not allowing me the option to add a bank account to my e-wallet, only a debit or credit card, which come with a $60+ convenience charge to use.My multiple emails seeking resolution month after month went (and continue to go) unacknowledged, and the problems unresolved, resulting in unwarranted late fees and pre-eviction notices stuck on my door. Eventually I gave up on ever receiving a solution from management and resorted to paying by check—but be prepared to be constantly vigilant over your checking account funds, as you have no way of knowing how many days or weeks later they’ll actually go to cash it.I could go on, but you get the idea. Don’t be seduced by the location or slightly lower rent for the area—they aren’t worth the constant frustration. Spare yourself and seek housing elsewhere.

I have enjoyed living here. The location is very ideal to be near the metro stations, great restraunts, and the Whole Foods...the list can go on and on. My only complaint is the fee's associated for pets being too high.

I moved out of Lincoln Old Town a few months ago. I've never been so disregarded by a management company. It was shocking the way they would treat people. I, and other residents, believe they actively fire property managers who tenants get along with. While breaking my lease for a move across the country, they repeatedly did not respond to emails even to acknowledge receipt. They would not meet in person in the leasing office downstairs to talk, but preferred to have multi-day long email chains to resolve minor issues. After months of trying to finalize my move, I turned in my keys and parking sticker as I was leaving. The leasing agent who was the source of much of my frustration made a call while I was reading and signing the final documents. As if I wasn't worth a minute long wait before she could call a new tenant that was on the hook.I liked the apartment here and the front desk staff were great. It's unfortunate that the management was never trained in customer service or just actively doesn't like their tenants.

This is the 3rd time they’ve had “issues” with their new app. Auto-pay sometimes works— which defeats the point of auto-pay. Payment is glitchy. I suspect it is engineered this way so they can charge a 10% late fee on residents. Then they will post an eviction notice on your door a few days later. I recommend paying by check only and not making an account on Lively. This place has caused me more stress in the last 3 months than the last 3 years here combined. They don’t assume responsibility for the utilities after you move out, so expect angry calls from utility companies for months because Lincoln old town doesn’t confirm on their end that you have moved out. We may end up moving out early because this is too stressful. I hope Rochelle reaches out to us because we have had little success with communication and help from the office regarding this issue.

Sam and Maria were perfect in assisting in a short notice apt acquisition. They walked me through the process and solved issues when encountered. I recommend the facility as it’s nice and clean and everyone’s friendly.

I have only lived here for 3 months but have had such a bad experience I feel the need to leave a review. The resident manager makes negligent mistakes to accounts that are irresponsible and downright unprofessional. The accounting mistake she made was so severe it escalated to corporate. Rent with caution.

terrible management. they let you wait for 1.5 months just to tell you the documents from your application are not sufficient. meanwhile they barely give you information on the phone and tell you not to worry

Apparently the lease agreement automatically renews you into month to month and unless you tell them 60 days out within your current lease you get stuck in a mont-to-month price of paying near 100% more. I'm still in my current lease which ends in about 2 weeks. I gave them 30 day notice I wasn't staying and apparently that didn't fit their agenda. These people don't care about their residents. They only care about your money. I will NEVER rent from the parents company or any subs of this place. This place is an absolute joke.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Construction rings through the building for months but nothing ever seems to get fixed. Elevators, Doors, Garage Door seems to be always broken. There has not been a single day where all three have worked. Maintenance requests would go weeks if I didn't personally have to walk down and follow up again on an issue. We get our monthly "Sorry for the inconvenience" email but that's about as far as management will go. If you also like the bums that sleep in the doorway on a daily basis, this building is for you. Hopefully reading this you will not make the same mistake I did. All these fake 5 star reviews are comical.

The building is beautiful with good square footage. The outdoor space is fantastic. The closets are a bit small. Perfect location. Walking distance to Whole Foods, CVS, and many other stores.

I had seriously considered this place until I took time to read the reviews and speak with several current and former tenants. It is beyond disturbing how many people share negative opinions of this establishment and it’s management. I sincerely hope that management will do more than comment on each negative review and actually address the concerns that many of it’s tenants share. I’m sad to say, but given current circumstances, they have certainly lost the opportunity to have me as a tenant.

I have lived at Lincoln Old Town for a little over a year now and have enjoyed my time here. The location is perfect with a park across the street, several bars and restaurants within walking distance, and King street a short walk away. I think that many individuals forget that large apartment buildings see high traffic volume and that things break down due to consistent wear and tear and these individuals tend to take it out on the people trying their best to fix the issues. Personally, every time I have ever had a concern or maintenance issue it has been addressed immediately and the communication from management has been phenomenal as they continiously keep renters up to date. Both management and maintenance are respectful of myself and my dogs' privacy and make sure to contact me or provide several days notice before entering my apartment to do any type of preventative work as well. I never feel like my personal space is being invaded. I also can't forget to mention all of the fun events they plan and so work hard on! The last month alone we've had: donuts and coffee, yappy hour for the pups with complimentary nail trims, and a pizza party!Let's be honest- No apartment building is perfect, but this one has some great perks outside of location, like a lovely courtyard, a pool, the option for renovated units with updated appliances and some gorgeous flooring, and amazing views from the clubhouse. But, out of everything, it is the people who run and manage the building that make Lincoln Old Town feel like home. My dogs and myself always feel so loved and welcome every time we step into the lobby or office because each person that works here takes the time to say Hi, ask us about our day, and check in when they know things are tough.

I am very interested in residing here. I've had the best service from the front desk, phone calls, and the property management team. This is my dream site home. As soon as I figure out leaving my current rent, I will be signing with LOT!

Love the property and how close it is to everything. The apartments are modern and the building has all the amenities you expect. Within just a few minutes, I can walk to all of the restaurants in Carlyle Square, Whole Foods, and the King St Metro station. Management is amazing. The team is super friendly and responsive. Great place to rent!

The staff is amazing!! I love the open feeling when you walk through the doors. Leasing office team had so many options of units. I love that I’m given that choice. Most definitely referring to anyone that wants to move!!
