Donald was super knowledgeable and patient throughout the entire process. He gave great recommendations completely in-line with what I told him I was looking for. This was my 5th dealership in search of my new car and he was by far the best sales rep I met with. I ended up leasing a new Volvo S60 Hybrid and I absolutely love it.

Horrible experience. The finance manager promised me deals that were not available. He cursed out the general manager on speaker phone while I was in his office. They quoted me a lease buyout that was inaccurate and I was told I owed more at the time of buyout. They “lost my folder” and I never received title and registration. No follow up and bad, infrequent communication. I would recommend going to another Volvo dealership.

Great experience! Easiest car dealership I've dealt with. Great selection and easy process! Did my trade deal remotely and everything was as agreed! Long after the transaction I received a refund where I was overcharged slightly on vehicle registration fees from my home state - I was very happy they sent it back - never had a dealer do that before!

First visit, VA safety inspection, no appointment. I was met promptly and processed quickly. Beautiful new facility. The inspection went quickly. The detritus of a service visit was removed completely. Good selection of coffee, sodas, and Halloween candy while waiting. 10/10.

We had a very pleasant experience. Everyone from the moment we walked into the new building was personable and friendly. Donald was great he pulled the cars we were interested in and made suggestions. The entire sales team was nice and chatted while we went though paperwork. The process was never pushy it flowed and went with ease. I will continue to buy my cars from Lindsey Volvo

I worked with Gus (sales) and Robert (finance) and they were amazing! Gus was very laid back and not pushy at all. I felt absolutely no pressure to leave the dealership with any particular vehicle or any vehicle at all for that matter. He was very attentive and took his time to explain everything about each car in my interest - so I could make the right decision for me! Once I made my decision he was extremely thorough and patient with explaining every detail concerning the ins and outs of the vehicle’s details and features. And there was a LOT of cool things for him to explain and show me about the car, because I purchased the fully electric Volvo 2023 C40 Recharge and it is evident that Volvo put a lot of thought in detail into adding many useful features to allow a truly hands free driving experience - while at the same time allowing you to stay fully connected. Also, I must say…the Google connectivity is a game changer! My prior vehicle had Alexa (not Volvo - a different make), but it was not a seamless experience at all. It was so poor that it was useless because of the time it took to get it to do anything at all of substance. But I LOVE Volvo’s GOOGLE integrated system!!! And I’m sure if you’re as busy as I am, and enjoy the ease of use and advances in technology - you will too!I’m certain I’ll be returning when it’s time to get my next vehicle because of the above and because everything they communicated on the phone was exactly what I received when I arrived, if not better, (as it relates to the available vehicles and features as well as the finance portion) and THAT means a lot. If you’re considering where to purchase your next vehicle - don’t think - just call Gus! :)

This location has excellent customer service! Everyone was very nice and had a smile on their face. Daniel was very professional, straight forward, and honest. We did not feel pressured at all during the process and had a fair negotiation. We didn't buy a Volvo but instead another used car they had, so the knowledge was limited but they still tried their best to accommodate our needs.

Very pleased with the professional staff and team, customer service, and the service done to my Volvo. Customer representative was extremely helpful and answered all questions. Did a complete analysis of my car and did NOT try to push me into doing unnecessary work to my car. Will definitely bring my car back for other repair in the future.

I ordered a 2024 XC40 Ultimate. Graham was responsive and attentive. I felt he wanted me to be informed to make the best decision possible rather than trying to sell me a car to make some money. He also took the time to walk me through all the features and get me set up with infotainment. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Nick in the service center at Lindsay Volvo Cars of Alexandria created an absolutely amazing experience! He was communicative, thoughtful and extremely thorough. He made me feel as though I was the only customer in his service cue, though I can imagine he had multiple customers vying for his support. I have had my car serviced multiple times at this Volvo dealer and will be back when that time comes again. They have earned my business and I highly recommend this location to any Volvo owner in the area or any potential Volvo owner. Their selection of Volvos is great. My next one will be purchased from this location!

Dean of the service department kept me regularly apprised of how my service was going, when the technicians found additional issues that needed to be addressed and when the car would be ready. The ride service, Alto, to pick it up was easy to use and timely. Thank you for taking good care of my vehicle.

Just bought a Volvo certified 3-year old S60 with 34k miles. The car is still under both new car and certified car warranties. The salesperson was reasonable, that is the only reason it is a 2-star rating. Otherwise it is 1 or 0. The finance guy was actually a little upset after learning the car would be paid in cash, and he was so impatient that he left his office before me. Then came the worst part. When I took a long metro ride (1.5 hours) to pick up the car, one remote was missing and they could not fix it right away, the spare tire was missing and the compartment cover was not functioning. I had to drive a long way to go back to fix the issues. But it was very difficult to schedule an appointment, they kept telling me the earliest appointment was 2 to 3 weeks away. After many attempts and with the salesperson's help, finally got an appointment and wasted two hour drive and waited there for several hours to get the remote and spare tire. The other issues have not been fixed yet.
