Excellent experience shopping there today. A nice lady, if I remember correctly her name was Laura (but I do remember she is a district manager), was very helpful, very professional, gave me a lot of advice, it was a true pleasure talking to her.
But I must say all the staff was very polite, friendly and helpful, there was a large selection of different plants and other items for a garden and I left the store as a very satisfied customer. Thank you.

Unfortunately, everything we have bought from here lately has been damaged or didn't work as expected.
Examples: the garden soil we purchased was full of mold when we opened the bag same day. The black mulch immediately lost its stain after watering plants.

As many before me have noted, if you want your items, get them shipped to you or go to the store and buy it. Do not use their Pickup option. I had to wait 40min today to get my items that were literally behind the counter. I pointed it out to the staff many times, but they insisted I wait for "someone". A lot of staff were waiting around and having conversations and the customer queue was getting longer and longer. Nothing wrong with a bit of banter at the workplace, but y'all we can multi-task!

Poor service, really going downhill especially in Waldorf. They hire younger employees who don't know anything about what they're selling. I'm not Hispanic but in most of these stores they need to attempt to hire more Hispanic employees that are in the industry. They know what they're doing and they can help those who speak Spanish and if they're bilingual, that's even better.

Tried to do a pickup order but had to go through several employees to just pickup what I had already ordered and paid for. Horrible and unprofessional behavior and treatment by the employees and even store manger on duty. They even have a sign saying be nice to the employees, not joking its at the front of the store. Makes me think of the saying, If you run into an a$shole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into a$sholes all day, you're the asshole. You think lowes would see if they have that many upset customers maybe its not the customers. If you do have to go here expect to see a lot of employees just standing around and not helping. And even if they talk to you they will be rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. Make sure to record them with your phone to be safe.

The Lowe's store itself is good, but trying to get a hold of their customer service is extremely difficult. I spent a week trying to confirm a delivery, going back and forth, with corporate and the store. In the end, I went in, got a hold of a manager who helped me solve the logistical issue.

One thing I absolutely hate is going into a store and the employees not being able to assist. I came in on a Thursday morning. The item was in stock online but I could not find it based on the info and given location online. No one knew where I could find a small tool box!! I went out of my way to come to this location before work and left beyond disappointed.

I was looking to have my kitchen remodeled and did a ton of research about cabinets, countertops, etc. After much consideration, I decided to go with Lowe's. Let's just say it was a big mistake. I was approved for the credit card, but this location could not process the transaction due to some odd reason. Upon installation, we realized that the cabinet door pulls would not work, so we tried to return them - could not despite their taking more than a couple of months to deliver and install the cabinets, I could not return the items that I did not need. As a whole, I would gladly deal with the online folks, but the associates at this store are beyond unhelpful and act like they are doing you a favor. I will never come back to this location, and maybe Lowe's ever again.

I ordered a sliding glass patio door installation (after Home Depot was a no-show to give me an estimate). The installation seemed to go fine. The contractor left without verifying that the key lock worked, so I tried to use the keys for the lock. But it is so tight that the keys are about to break off. I called the installer the next day, who told me to call Lowes' project management. Since then it has been impossible to get them to return to install a new lock set. Lowes received the lock-set from their supplier (why an off-the-shelf item would take three weeks or so to obtain is also a problem). But they got it, called me and left a voice mail to call to schedule its installation. I did call, a number of times in fact, but they never call back. I either get more promises or their voicemail. Lowes' customer service is of no service, since they say they will contact the installer, but they do not. I even disputed my credit card charge, and had it removed from my account. Amex (my card) contacted Lowes whose customer service contacted me with another promise of service. But no service was forthcoming, of course. So I have a door I cannot lock, or at least get back in if I lock it from one side and want to return from the other (which would be a normal pattern for our family). Lowes was paid. The installer was paid. But the job was not completed so that the door will function properly. They just refuse to contact me and set up when to come and do it right. If this is how they do business, and it does seem like it is from other reviews as well, I would not recommend them for anything at all. Once they have the money, they think they are done.

What can I say, this Lowe's location is a pile of garbage. I've placed two home delivery orders with them in the last 2 weeks. The first was a small order with a patio table and some cushions. A few hours after I placed my order, I received an email saying my order had been delivered, with a photo of my items at someone else's house! I spent over an hour calling the store, with no answer on any line. I ended up walking around my neighborhood until I found the items one street over, and ended up carrying everything back to my house. Once I got home, I noticed that Lowe's had stacked some bags of concrete on the cushions, and they were crushed and had concrete powder all over them. I tried calling the store again with no response, so I ended up washing everything to clean it up. This week I thought I would give them another try since the local competitor did not have everything I needed in stock. So I ordered over $1200 in lumber and building supplies to build a shed, and selected home delivery and proceeded to place the order with their $99 delivery fee. A few hours later, I receive an email saying some of my items were cancelled in the order. It turns out that every item was cancelled, saying they were out of stock. I had over 90 items in the order, including basic lumber (2x4s and plywood), so I find it incredibly hard to believe everything was out of stock. This is just another dishonest business, and should be avoided.

The fact that it's painstaking to get any assistance just makes you want to go elsewhere. Just a reminder folks, this is what corporate retail looks like, and it's only going to get worse.

It deserves a O rating but there's not an option for that. The worst customer service including management. There are absolutely useless. Never offer to help. Im order to get help you have to run around and get someone and that someone NEVER wants to help. You can't find one smiling face in any of the employees. I presume they all hate their job but needless to say that is not our fault. Unless i really need to go I go. Otherwise I order from other companies. This Lowe's does not deserve our hard earned money.

If I could go back in time and tell myself not to order appliances from Lowes, I would. Save yourself hours of frustration by choosing another retailer, any other retailer--it will be the best decision of your life. I've been working on a simple appliance delivery and installation for more than TWO months. This is not an exaggeration. This is something that could easily be resolved if someone at the store actually picked up the phone. When I call this store, the phone rings and rings, sometimes for more than 20 minutes at a time, until someone picks up the receiver and hangs up the call. I kid you not. I've called outside electricians and plumbers to complete most of the work Lowes promised and I already paid them for. Unfortunately, I cannot post this review with zero stars, which is what they deserve, and this is the only reason they are receiving one.

This place is horrible they never answer the phone we are trying to find out where our stove delivery is at for 3 weeks now and to get a person is impossible. They told us it was being delivered on Memorial Day LOL and they never showed calling now on two different phones an no person ever answers. We ordered all are appliances together but someone entered them all as separate. Been months waiting out new Kitchen is almost complete but we still have no stove. My next call will be to go to corporate because this store manager should be fired. How can you run a store this big an Jo person from customer service ever answers the phone? Seriously try it for fun call in and see if they answer I guarantee you they won’t and sometimes they answer and hang up that’s really fun when they do that.
