My brother and I leased with Lynbrook from 2020 to 2021. To start off, we signed a lease for a renovated apartment with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a den, and a washer/dryer in-unit for under $1600. Upon move-in, the unit they showed us to was not renovated and did not have the extra half bath or the washer/dryer. After 3 hours of negotiations, they revealed that they unfortunately didn't have any units on their property matching the one we signed for. That sounds like false advertising to me, but they called it an honest mistake since they've only owned the properties for three years.Eventually, they allowed us to move into a renovated unit with no extra half bath and a washer/dryer that was not functioning properly, charging us almost $1800 for rent. The other option was to break our lease, which would have cost us 2 months of rent, which we couldn't afford to pay up front at the time being between jobs in the height of COVID, so we were stuck. Throughout our time there, we dealt with ignored or significantly-delayed maintenance requests for flooding, a non-flushing toilet, a washer/dryer that didn't work, and mice. Also, people's cars were frequently broken into, including my own. The managers claimed they had surveillance cameras in every lot to avoid trash dumping, but when I asked if they would be able to determine who broke in, they said they didn't have any cameras in "that parking lot."Almost three years later, and we're still hearing about Lynbrook. I encourage you to look elsewhere.

Maintenance (Mike Young) was very professional and did an amazing job, quick and clean. Maintenance took a while after the request but Mike apologized for the inconvenience, so Thanks Mike!

It is the worst place to live in it. My advice to all do not rent here, in another place you can get a better apartment for the same price and with great management. My experience here, when I moved here I rented an apartment which had everything used in it which I expected but when I moved out from their apartment they wanted everything to be brand new, for which they charged me for many things to renew their apartment. In short they will give you an apartment in silver condition but in return they want it in gold condition. All the staffs in residence services office are so rude and unhelpful except a white guy. A lot of rodents are here and they do not treat them properly. Overall I do not recommend to anyone Stay away from them, other ways you will regret.
