Insisted I pay their imaginary copayments even though my in network insurance card clearly displayed $0 copay for all visits.. I refused to pay and was refused service. Their customer service is terrible and they clearly don't know how to read or bill properly there.

I called ahead asking if this location did walk-ins, and was told to come over. I put my name on the list and, after filling out an excessive amount of online paperwork, my name appeared in 7th place on the list. However, after I waited nearly an hour and moved up a few spaces, more people came in and my name went back down to 7th place. The staff were unable to give me even a rough estimate of the wait time. I walked out and went to a CVS MinuteClinic where I was seen in about 10 minutes. If the staff had adequately explained the wait process to me, and gave me even a rough estimate of the wait time, the experience would have been fine.

I was very disappointed in the care I received during my last visit. I went for an ear infection. Even though the process of scheduling an appointment was easy and I was seen within a reasonable amount of time, Dr Buttler ( my assigned doctor), took literally 2 minutes to check me. She prescribed non-topical antibiotics which did not work for my issue. I eneded up having to go to the ER and upon reviewing the prescription given by Dr Buttler, the ER doctor was surprised about the type of medication I was prescribed. The health field is a critical field. Professionalism and ethics must be at the core of any practice. I hope the issue gets addressed with Dr Buttler.

Staff were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The wait was a little long, but the staff managed all well and communicated with those waiting.

I assume you'll ignore or minimize my feedback. After all I'm just one patient and it's easy to label me disgruntled and move on. I know that as a rule customer service everywhere is awful. But I write because by definition people who go to urgent care need urgent care. I needed it, I didn't get it, but despite my severe physical discomfort I was able to advocate for myself. Perhaps other patients won't be able to so it's for them that I write. I had been in severe physical discomfort since Monday, March 25th, 2024. I tried to telemed with my primary MD but her first appointment was in the first week in May. After I felt ready to leave my house I made an appointment at your Alexandria Urgent Care for Friday, March 29th, 2024, at 11:00am. As requested, before I arrived I completed the online forms. I arrived at the office at 10:55am and in her only display of energy the person at the desk, Nicole, promptly asked for my $25 payment. I sat. At perhaps 11:25am a lethargic tech came out for me, took my vitals, and sent me back to the waiting room. At perhaps noon another lethargic tech came for me, took me to the examining room, and I sat. I commented to my wife that even at my age (63) and in my diminished physical condition I had more energy than all the employees. At 12:15 another tech, this one animated, asked if I wanted water. I've been going to medical appointments for decades and I've never been asked this. I suspected I was in for a continued wait so I asked her when I'd be seen. She sheepishly said she didn't know, that there was only one medical professional available, and that there were four people ahead of me. At 12:30 I decided to walk out. At the front I asked Nicole for a refund of my $25 and she said she'd have to call about it. I knew that meant I wasn't getting my $25 so I told her to keep it. Then I asked her why I wasn't told about the hour and a half (and possibly more) delay. A different employee, though I didn't get her name, launched into a rambling, disjointed excuse. None of it made sense and none of it gave me back my hour and a half nor did it help me medically. Fortunately Mother Nature is helping me feel better. And she taught me to never again visit your Alexandria urgent care.

A V O I D this place. They don’t care how long you wait, how much pain you got. 2H+wait because they only got 1 doctor. Doctor didn’t do much either. Find another urgent care. Some people just left because they got tired of waiting. ??????????

Everyone was great. Really kind. Dr. Cope was awesome. He explained things and didn’t make me feel like he was just churning out patients. I really appreciated that.

The reason why I always travel to King St location is because of the service. The facility is clean, the Front Desk team speaks, friendly and are professional, no long waits times and the providers knowledge and bedside manners is phenomenal!! I trust coming to this location to leave with feeling like I’ve been taken care of.
