“Patricia custom made my Halloween costume and nailed it! She does all of my alterations so well that I thought she would be able to make this. I showed her a few photos and she recreated every detail from them. I ordered special material on Etsy (she told me how much to order) and we did about five fittings. Each time she made the adjustments I asked for and I'm so pleased with the end result!”
“The Lucky Knot in Old Town Alexandria is such a fun boutique to visit. I absolutely love the nautical and coastal vibes throughout the store—it’s like stepping into a New England summer. Their dresses and tops are so cute, especially the ones with anchors and bold stripes. I found a couple of great pieces that are perfect for warm-weather outings.
The shop itself is beautifully organized and inviting. It’s a great place to pick up something unique for a beach trip or just to add a pop of color to your wardrobe. Staff were warm and welcoming, offering help without being pushy. If you're into preppy, seaside-inspired fashion, this place is definitely worth checking out!”

Raul helped me find the perfect blazer for the occasion I was purchasing it for and even helped me match a shirt to the remainder of my outfit. The prices were even reasonable. The shop was super nostalgic and fit the “Old Town” vibe very well. I had gone to multiple other establishments looking for a solution and found everything I needed in one stop. Just make sure you have the email that has your order number on it available. P.S. on a side note I noticed that their pants run a bit large so I would order down a size if I were you. He was the ultimate professional, highly funny, and when the sleeves on my jacket were too long and it would be too late to get the jacket sent out and returned, he whipped out the thread and needle and hemmed it on the spot. Cannot recommend this place enough for weddings!!”
